  • Why do people always have to say that the song is not their`s?

  • thank you for sharing Hraffi

  • No words could describe the feelings I feel hearing The Cure's songs.

  • Deep, rich, beautiful and timeless music. I tip my hat to all of you who feel the same. This album is a masterpiece.

  • when music has not a crazy amount of views, and less than one of every 100 people that listen to it doesnt enjoy it, and im obsessed with it, then i know im part of some group, i love this music so much

Mental direction anymore , with a song like this I don't really need one.

  • hey hey. just one more and ill..... and oh how we....... dont even have to finish because anyone who knows the song, will still go there. love how robert can do that with his voice.

  • ''Post-rock'' wouldn't've taken of without songs like this.

  • i still love this version but i wish i could find an instrumental version...

  • This song reminds me of Final Fantasy 10. Just saying.

  • Sad violins

  • Hey, do you guys think this is the darkest record by the cure?

  • @Leojk87 I think Faith (1981) and Pornography (1982) are darker than Disintegration (1989).

  • @Leojk87 faith was 100x darker, and so was pornography

  • @simionTheOne i wasnt a big fan of pornography. Wont lie, i enjoyed this album much more

  • Anyone else think the beginning sounds like one of the Minecraft songs?

Either way, love them. So pissed I couldn't get tickets to see them at Royal Albert Hall, was sitting there at 9am waiting to get tickets but all I got was queues ):

  • does anyone know anything about the 'skipping' at the beginning of the track? its on quite a few versions ive listened to but found a couple without it?? epic track and epic album

  • @310591tom It was probably transferred from vinyl at some point.

  • I am from PIttsburgh, I now live in Chicago. I visited Pittsburgh over the weekend and missed Chicago so badly. This song ran through my head the entire weekend. I love this song.

  • Many excellent albums before and after, but any true fan of The Cure, will agree, that this was the ONLY album!

  • I just listened to the entire The Cure discography over the past fortnight and decided that this is my favourite Cure song of all time. Not sure if my opinion on that will ever change.

  • With no influence of hearing which cure songs were popular, when I first listened to my parents disintegration album, I unbiasedly decided that this was the best track on the album, by far.

  • @RichardRebeccaHead

It is really good, but Lullaby gives me goosebumps/chills. :P

  • kispál és a borz-nagyvárosi románc. mintha.

  • In the very temple of Delight, Veil'd Melancholy has her sovran shrine. -John Keats

  • brilliance... pure beauty. the cure form 80-82 and in 89 was so great, maybe the greatest band of their time. i wish we'd have music like this today, but unfortunately...

  • The intro is AWESOME !!

  • A Masterpiece, just a wonderful and beautiful piece of Art....

  • i can't believe how few views this song has. people don't know good music, apparently. or have forgotten the real stuff from a time ago ...

  • I just looked up "homesick" because I was feeling so, and I found this awesome song

  • @necrid86 ha me too!

  • true beauty

  • deeply impressed....

  • Could this song be any better than the Seventeen Seconds/Faith/Pornography stuff ?? Just a question.

  • This song is amazing. Just it.

    I truly LOVE The Cure!

    (This song deserve more views.)

  • This is the best album in existence. I love the combination of piano and drums in this song.

  • Oh the Disintegration album.

So many tears cried, so much pain felt, so many cigarettes smoked while listening to this fabulous album..

  • @The1ne07 I know,I know,may many positive vibes fulfill you!!!

  • this tune means so many things to me... but happiness, in any form, in any way, is not even close to them

  • nothing to me is comparable with the first 3 or 4 albums but still this is a good one

  • Friday, I'm in love again, with this song.

  • god fan since 87 i was in the 6th grade and remember the cure really stood out during this era of metal hairbands too me it was like hearing a pink floyd album for the first time it seemed so out of place but so brillant and you couldnt get enough and end up buying all their albums.

  • OOOOOOOOH so good.

  • one of the ten best albums EVER recorded. every track is beautiful.

  • There's nothing worse than loving and not being loved back.

  • @tteu123 I know that feeling

  • Interesting, to hear this song as it was written for me in 1986 it is strange to hear someone else sing it, but also it seems as people like it.

  • I love the Rosetta cover of this song

  • ♫♪♫

    I trembled

    Stuck in honey

    Honey

    Cling to me...

    So just one more

    Just one more go

Inspire in me the desire in me

    To never go home

    ♥ • ♥ Sensuality has a name in music: The Cure!!! ♥ • ♥

  • depresion song.. :))

  • this song is the shit!!

  • "Inspire in me the desire in me to never go home"...I love that line.

  • Have you guys heard Rosetta's cover of this song? It does the song justice, I think, they did an extraordinary job.

This is an amazing song though, certainly a classic.

  • @North0house I FUCKING LOVE ROSETTA, and so far, best cure cover I've ever heard in my life, it's so spaced out and awesome, but this original version is amazing.

  • @AveEnd Definitely, not much else beats them... I know Year of No Light did a Joy Division cover, and Mouth of the Architect did a fantastic cover of Peter Gabriel's 'In Your Eyes'

But, I think Rosetta did the best job on covering the Cure.

The original, as always, is the best though.

  • @North0house Are you serious? I love Peter Gabriel and MOTA and I have the Violence Beneath and love that song but I had no clue it was a Peter Gabriel cover dude >.< thank you so much for bringing that up!

  • @AveEnd Lol, I'm dead serious.

I know, me too, it's awesome for sure. I love how my favorite bands cover incredible songs from other incredible bands.

  • I love the chord progression down and up again :50 to 1:08 - it is one of my favorite transitions in this song....the piano is amazing 1:01 to 2:02,...it is so under emphasized yet it adds so much to the build up in the song...truly an amazing instrumental production and then the lyrics just kill.....one of my favorites on this ingenious CD. Thanks for posting this song, it helps to make work a bit more tolerable......

  • song wonderful but no good sound (disturbed)

  • I love their long intros...no one takes their time with so much care like they do.

  • @Silence4Sounds

I agree. The intros really make the songs.

  • lovely

  • absolutly love it!!!!!

  • I hear the disc lol!
