Fuck Dave and the high horse he and his bad heart rode into town on. Who the fuck does he think he is? Does he actually think his little piss-ant show is more important than everything else? Obviously he does.
Ask anyone who knows me and they'll tell you what a big Letterman fan I am - or now "was." Letterman is where he is today because of people like me and you. If I'm gone, you can bet they'll me more. Howard Stern's right...can't stand tv celebs who think what they do is important.
Get yourself a new brain. It wasn't personal, you dummy. Mr. Letterman was exposing the dishonest, sneaky nature of a potential U.S. president. Consider it a favor. "The road to the Whitehouse runs right through here". That's called sarcasm and irony. Why do I bother trying to educate the retards on youtube. GOD, it's bad for my health. GET WITH IT!
Now that Obama's been in office 6 weeks and the economic havoc he has created, do I even need to say what a ROFL I am now having. I enjoy revisiting my old posts and reminding people like you "I told you so."...but I knew this would happen. I agree with the recent Zogby pool - if the election were held today, McCain would easily win - America's way of saying "yep, we screwed this one up."
@cannedstring Who the fuck do you think you're fooling? You sound like a person trying to prove his intellect by the struggling self-defication of your own anxiety of "trying to educate the rest of us idiots".....Pa-lease, I've listened to self-proclaimed drama queens make better points than this.
Besides, it's obvious there's an old wisdom you've never heard....it's tough to bullshit a bullshiter. Still, your "anxiety" problem appears it can be solved with a gun and a single bullet.
oh and what's he supposed to talk about, cotton candy flavors? the weather? fall fashions? THIS IS WHAT'S GOING ON. IT's HIS JOB. IT's HIS ROLE TO TALK ABOUT R E A L I T Y. Sitcoms and dramas are for make-believe. Even the good cartoons are RELEVANT.
Independents switching to McCain after watching this. I was 3rd party & switched to McCain after doing my "own" research on Obama. Especially with the word "racist" being thrown around by Obama supporters for anyone not voting for McCain; it's pissing ppl off.
you mean you're not going to vote for obama because some of his supporters are using the R-word? How about not voting republicon because some of the McCain supporters are throwing the N-word around? hmmmm.... seems ur more concerned about your emotions than the importance of good governance.
Letterman is a leftist. Can't he stick to entertainment and keep his leftist agenda out of the Media. Oh that's right, ABC,NBC, CBS, NewY Times, Wash post are all leftist as well.
@metr0man As I said in an earlier post, I like to revisit my old postings to remind people of things. Dave said of McCain..."I just don't know if we can trust him." Well, it sure turned out that we were able to trust our Comrade Presidente' Obama. Turns out Obama lied to everyone just to get elected. Too bad he didn't reveal to us what a socialist-communist he would be.
Looks like McCain was the more trustworthy...and Dave, banging his staffer - yeah, he proved to be a trushworthy hubby
@guyfroml I don't know what rock you were living under during his campaign, but both the economic bailouts and the health care reform were big parts of his public platform, so either you weren't paying attention or weren't intelligent enough to realize that his reforms were socialist in nature. Both issues were tackled within his first six months of office, which leads to my next point.
@guyfroml If you want to blame him for "not getting anything done", well, he's accomplished more reform in 2 years than his predecessor could muster in 8, and the only reason he hasn't been able to do even more is because the GOP's obstructionist partisan voting in congress. Look, if you're another god-fearing McCarthyist that's utterly terrified of socialist policies in American government, just say so. Stating that Obama was not upfront about his agenda only makes you look ignorant.
I would agree compared to Ron Paul. McCain is the best of two undesirables

Mr. Letterman is my hero. He's been going on about this for weeks but it's still funny. Best personality on television.

The media being such a big influence on politics, and Letterman being one of the biggest influences in the media, this is bad news for McCain.

I McCain doesn't show, he's a wimp; if he does show, he's in for a tongue-lashing from Dave.
He can't win. He blew it. It doesn't pay to underestimate David Letterman.
