I just lost my lg ally from verison wirelss. It was touch screen and had a full key board that slid out. I had it for alittle over a year but it randomly dissapeared. BUT i was getting a new phone any way becuase the ally completly broke down and when i called people i couldnt hear them and they couldnt here me. .. i could text but thats it. Im getting this phone in 2 days and i think it looks great!

if you were more educated you would know that right now the 8900 has the best battery right now. Bold and Tour cant compete because 3G uses much more battery life so idk where ur getting your info from. 2G is slower by a couple of seconds RELAX its not a big deal and yeah the 9700 is superior but only because it has 3G and the tour has it too so like I SAID A BUNCH OF TIMES its not worth getting if you have a blackberry from 09 PERIOD

3g is also on the original bold as well and the 8900 has really the same keyboard as the 8300 so the keys all move but they are move responsive. the rubber keys on the bold feel cheap and the trackball felt so cheap on the bold. internet is not that much slower neither. basically the 9700 is the tour wit wifi which is not an upgrade whatsoever AND theres gonna be a new phone which is the tour wit a trackpad. not really an upgrade if u ask me

I don't get it, not everyone wants a touch screen phone. Is it a big upgrade, well if you look at the 9000 then no, But it smaller and still as or more powerful then the 9000. And look at it for T-mobile customers, we're finally getting a 3g BB.Everyone was crying about the 9000 was too big, so they slim it down to the size of a curve. Looking at other PDA's(none-touch) it's on top of it's game at(I'm sure will be) the right price.

I don't get it, not everyone wants a touch screen phone. Is it a big upgrade, well if you look at the 9000 then no, But it smaller and still as or more powerful then the 9000. And look at it for T-mobile customers, we're finally getting a 3g BB.Everyone was crying about the 9000 was too big, so they slim it down to the size of a curve. Looking at other PDA's(none-touch) it's on top of it's game at(I'm sure will be) the right price.
