Samsung Setup (better lighting)

Nice setup! Had to take my 51" Samsung Plasma back because it was like looking in a mirror. Too much damn glare!

damn i paid 1000 for my tv 1080p led lcd 46 inch. 300 for ps3 180 for KLH aluminum speaker surround sound with 10 inch sub. 180 for sony receiver with fiber optic sound. stand was 100 from walmart. looks identical but most of my stuff is flat silver but the tv and ps3. nice set up though paid to much should have shopped around.

@ramz9169 cool setup, i got a 50" samsung full HD plasma the other day.. it's pretty awesome.. one thing though, are dead pixels something i should be fretting over or is 3 or so out of 2 million nothing.. i mean i dont see them unless my face is right up in it looking for them and i checked over a white screen... whats your thoughts?

you need an anti glare screen. otherwise you'll see your windows in the daytime (like we do here) and lamps at night. Cool TV though, you just need the glare film.

Plasma vs LCD? Which one is better?

It all depends. I went with Plasma, really nice picture, especially in the dark. Plasmas have glass screens, attracting a little more reflection. Plasmas however have 600hz refresh rates-far superior to any LCD or LED, the best for games and sports. Be careful, some Samsung LCD's have light leakage in the corners, when the screen is black, light from the bulbs in the back may leak through, leaving a slight washed out look.
