  • That was obviously played in the eighties... If the andamento doesn't tell you that, just look at their hair! KKK

  • @FloripanoBR

What a funny clueless remark. Janowitz was born in 1937, in the 80's she would have been about 50. Now look again at her "hair", you clown.

  • @silverbud HAHAHA I'll take that as a compliment to my joke and not as an offense to my intelect!

  • @FloripanoBR You are all wrong. Its was played in 1969!

  • Complimenti per aver caricati i video con le registrazioni di tanta bella musica di Bach che mi godo di ascoltare.

  • although being a protestant J.S.Bach composed this colossal latin mass between 1742-49, even though some of its parts were written previously. its powerful expresiveness does overpass its christian adscription to transform it in a work portraying an universal message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • very nice music thanks for posting it.s true that nice choir song . god alone is over creator and savior .and I like to lestening to Alyas Hanna music also.

  • lovely singing from janowitz, karajan's discovery

  • Wow that is painfully slow!!!! But I love Gundula.

  • quel douceur c'est magnifique c'est bqpde plaisir

  • The sound is absolutely angelic! I wish Janowitz could use more expression.. hse has a most amazing voice, perhaps a 'perkier' face, it would make her performance a bit more entertaining for her audiences. Great take none the same.

  • This piece is wondeful. I like this interpretaion from Janowitz & Laubenthal. I like also Laubenthal in Bach's St Mathew Passion...!

  • i can only surmise that she is trying to exude a control and effortlessness...

  • This is wonderful, simply majestic. I love this mass, as if it were my very son.

By the way, The soprano looks like Vilma Flinstone, doesn't she? Try imagining her with a grose pearl necklace. Apart from that, she sings beatifully.

  • @amlokadion gundula janowitz. a beautiful voice.

  • Superbe...continuez à diffuser ce genre de classique. C'est un plaisir

  • This is my favorite part, it floats to heaven like a delicate cloud wafted upwards higher and higher by a soft wind.

  • Sounds like someone's a poet. ;)

  • Superb :o) - despite soprano who looks like Matt Lucas in a wig, lol.

  • Ms Janowitz is amazing as usual in this interpretation.

  • I think taht is not Janowitz.

  • It's definitely Janowitz.

  • you are ritght. Ludwig....

  • Certainly is Gundula Janowitz.
