You say this game has a poor hit detection, but i think it;s because of the weapon kickback and sway. sometimes, (when you fire a real gun) when pulling the trigger you might lose some accuracy, so i think it's just more realistic that way :)

it wasn't the original that started the craze, or the top of the series' career. Allied Assualt was, and was created by a studio that went on to create the Call of Duty series, no other studio haas been able to match tthe quality of AA.

@empv2 It really depends on you. I really enjoyed the single player campaign in Airborne. It was pretty short, clocking in at around 3-6 hrs. of total completion time for me on normal difficulty (also, there are only 6 levels). However, I continually went back to get my weapons fully upgraded, which raised the replay value for me. But, the online is complete crap. There aren't that many people playing and even if you DO manage to get in a game, it's laggy and doesn't really stand out.

@empv2 World At War really focuses on multiplayer, with cooperative and competetive play (Zombies/Multiplayer). The single player campaign is fun and all, clocking in at around 3-6 hrs. for me on normal, but there was really no drive to play again. In Airborne, you could choose your play style every time you start a new level because you parachute into the battlefield. Therefore, I conclude with the statement that Airborne has a better campaign and WAW has better online play.

I personally thought that if you just compare the campaign of this game & any call of duty game, this game destroyed call of duty. Call of Duty has great online & multiplayer but the campaign is nothing compared to Metal of Honor Airborne. This game was maybe the best WWII game that I've ever played.

Hey you know another dumb thing that the AI do in the game. They will just run at you and try to hit to with thier gun. If i have a shotgun it is really that smart to swing a mp40 aroung like a baseball bat.

Your allies are useless. The hit detection is annoying as well but my biggest thing is with your allies who seem to want to die.

My allies ran out into the bullets and had a tendency of getting in my way. EA failed in a lot of ways at this game. I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone

Call of Duty is a game.

Medal of Honor is more like...a "Play it yourself film".

I think of MOH as a piece of art, while COD is the franchise you play to get real action and thrills.

But thats just my opinion.

Assassin's Creed, COD4 and Medal of Honor Airborne are all pretty good games so you should definitely get them but I'd get The Orange Box instead of Resistance, because you get one of the best FPS's ever made (Half Life 2) and its 2 following episodes and also 2 additional games (Portal and Team Fortress 2).
