actually if you read the liner notes of cuts it says it John Cafiero singing. Michale did sing it on a punk compalation but i cant remember its title. also mike said in a few interviews that all the stuff jerry said about him trying out for the rangers was a lie.

danzig was IN THE mifits. when danzig was in it, it was called THE misfits. but after he left. danzig got all the rights to THE misfits stuff. but when they recruted graves it became just misfits.

Jerry Only only has rights to the new material, and has the right to perform and record as The Misfits. Danzig owns all of his songs with the Misfits. This was settled in court in the mid-1990s. Danzig makes 50% of anything Jerry does, the only agreement brokwn was Doyle was supposed to be part of the deal, but since Doyle left on his own back he lost his rights to the brand.

Graves Misfits and Danzig Misfits are two different bands. One was early punk and the other is speed metal. They're both about badass horror flicks or b movies and they're both incredible so love it. The Jerry-Only-led misfits today are a parody of either band.
