I hate the fact that the original one has a jet pack attached to the helmet. Im sick and tired of that. The original has no battle damage which is a let down. The range finder is annoying on the new one.

the old jetpack is more accurate cuas it has the bigger missile, actually the new jet pack is the same one as jango fett has in episode 2 attack of the clones but he has both versions in the movie

I prefer the old one honestly. the new legos are now aimed twards little kids. the old sets and minifigs like the 2001 clone turbo tank with the light up mace windu where good. the new ones are just a scheme to get more money. im not saying the new ones dont look cool im just saying lego is not what it used to be.

@TaskForceElites: Well, make no mistake, it's always about the money. A company wouldn't invest in something like that if it wasn't about money first. With that said, I have lots of the first Star Wars sets from '99 to the early 2000's. They have a lot of charm, but compared to the new ones, they're so simple and basic. Lots of sets have now been remade, and much more detailed and better scaled and proportioned, from the X-Wing, to Slave I, and more recently the Sith Infiltrator.

i was right with you about the newer one until you took of the helmet...it just reminded me that boba isnt what he used to be. he is not the mysterious figures he was in the original trilogy, the faceless figure, like the older lego guy you got there...so i like the older one!

@etheangel2220: I see your point. And I understand. You may not know who I'm about to talk about, but I'm a huge fan of the WWE's masked wrestler, Rey Mysterio. His face has been revealed in an interview, or pictures or something, but I've never seen them and don't care to look them up to keep that sense of mystery about him.

But, problem with Fett is, the prequel trilogy changed that, and he does have a face now, so I also accept that. Even the action figures now show his face.

It's history, it's where something comes from. But, I don't really like one better than the other. I appreciate the older one for what it is, but I also support growth and change and making things new. So, I like them both basically, they both have their place.

@Roswell205: Oh and since you wanna get all super nerd know it all on me, the jet pack on the old 2000 version of the Fett minifig is unique to Fett, it was never re-used or repainted for any other minifig except for the 2003 and 2006 Fett minifigs. And the jet pack on the 2010 Fett minifig was never shared with an earlier version of Jango, but it has been used on the Clone Wars Clone Jet Trooper and the new Clone Wars Mandalorian. Aside from that, this is LEGO, it's not movie accurate. Douche.

Bulloch got his due, credit was given and anyone old enough to have grown up with the original trilogy, including myself, knows very well who was under the helmet. However, it's about the character of a fictional universe, not the actor. More so since the actor underneath the helmet was never seen.
