As somebody who is financially secure through my own efforts (age 35)I just want to know what people actually learn from Trump and Kiyosaki. I have listened to them both at long length and I don't believe they teach anything. They just waffle on spouting buzz words and hip phrases. Open your eyes and ear, be smart, read their book, yes true that they are making a lot of money by selling the books, but that is not the point, so what if they make money. The thing that matter is, what you can gain from that book. See in a big picture, dont have a narrow thinking. I read their books already, listen to them, and i am glad for doing that, because it is not just educating me to be financially literate, but it open my eyes to the thing unseen to the poor, but seen by the rich.

I just read Kiyosaki's book 'the business for those who like to help people' and it is awesome. This is the reason I went into business for myself, and unlike what some people have posted you don't have to start out rich to make these concepts work. I didn't.

Passive Income means that time has nothing to do with the way you make money. So instead of getting paid on hours you get paid on results. Even if you are a brain surgeon making $300/hr you still have a cieling because that surgeon can't work more than 24hrs a day.

good book. changed the way i felt about investing in mutual funds and stocks vs investing in properties. But hear me though, for starters that do not know anything about investing i still think Mutual fund is the place before u start selecting good stocks to invest in and then use the turnover to purchase properties for life. I also love the power of OPM, they thot me a lot.

I just read Kiyosaki's book 'the business for those who like to help people' and it is awesome. This is the reason I went into business for myself, and unlike what some people have posted you don't have to start out rich to make these concepts work. I didn't.

Kiyosaki isn't as successful or as rich as he would like us to believe. That's my point, he's shady in that he has gotten wealthy by writing his books and giving lectures about quick-fixes to 'getting rich'. Simple, marketable and misleading advice that has gotten a lot of people in big trouble.
He has openly lied about investments and businesses that he has conducted. That can be found out with a google search. Try Kiyosaki + deception or something.

The title 'WHY WE WANT TO BE RICH' certainly grabs the attention, but doesn't that imply that only a few will be able to enjoy the benefits?
Because, obviously, if everyone had as much money as trump and kyosaki- then we would all be average?
However, I still love these motivational books- sheer escapism at its best.

Eventually, all the biggest websites will be the ones who share most of their earnings with their community. Otherwise communities will shift to other places where they share the revenue.

I have yet to turn 35 and I am financially secure. Please don't waste your lives arguing about the best way to make money. There are many ways to skin a cat. I implore people not to buy books by the likes of Kiyosaki, Trump etc etc because they don't tell you anything!! Getting motivated is easy but staying motivated is difficult sometimes. Why would anyone with that kind of a goal want to learn from somebody who only generates no more than 40k a year? No offense to teachers but I don't believe our education systems offer much.
