Why the hell is Oblivion in the side bar? Shouldn't it stay with it's own flock, I mean that's like putting a zebra in a lions den, only a dumb ass would do it.
I thought I cringed badly at most of Shepards lines, but that one.... fuck. Thats the reason I cant last five minutes with a femshep playthrough. Normally Hales work is excellent, but femshep is just plain unbearable.
Shepard doesn't break it because she doesn't like it. She breaks it so he doesn't take the freelancer job. If you decide to not react, you see him get shot in action.
@linkrock123 I think the point is that the gun was such a piece of crap it would have fallen apart before the kid could get a single shot off anyways :)
@199rikki Nothing, Shep says / does nothing and the Batarian guy says something like "Nothing, huh?" as if disappointed you don't react to his taunting.
@Mopehome This kid actually sends you an e-mail after you have completed the Garrus recruiting mission, thanking you, as he saw the freelancer death toll.
@Dragonforce478 743.Q9G.M11.W8A.JDQ.66Q.1DA.211.S66.411.224.476 (doesn't include the hairstyle, that was modded. Just select your own hair of preference after entering the code)
@IVforGTA In trurth it's possible it's a tad off. The original face was created in ME1 and imported (that's what you see in the vid).. imported Shep's don't have a face code, so I had to re-create the face in the ME2 engine. However I've done it so many times that I'm 99% sure it's a near identical match.. though I play with my import Sheps all the time so I have no way to verify since the damn game won't show their face code :(
@Twinky980 Only if you're playing ME2 on a clean start. If you import a ME1 character, you have enough paragon or renegade points to make those decisions even if you stay "neutral" throughout ME2 by waffling between renegade / paragon.. this is due to the bonus para / reneg points an imported character receives (I've made neutral characters that were able to do this... but only with imported Shepards).
@Hathur99 Even from an import you wont get enough paragon or renegade points to breakup the fights. you HAVE to gain some during the game else they'd die
@Hathur99 But even if you have enough paragon/renegade points which unlocks the conversation options. It won't work unless you actually choose that particular paragon/renegade options. Like Twinky said, even when fights break out and you have the option to make peace using the paragon option. yet you pick sides using the normal conversation options, you can still lose loyalty to the other squadmates.
I have both paragon&renegade bars full. But I always pick paragon on all conversation options.
@jimmyshousevideos This isn't dragon age 2... renegade / paragon actions have no impact on companions loyalty is Mass Effect... completing their specific loyalty mission makes them loyal, that's it. Renegade / paragon makes no difference.
Ok, I'll rephrase a second time. (In my opinion)The voice actor for the female shepard in Mass Effect 2 sounds too mellow in both Paragon and Renegade actions. Making the conversation sound boring. Almost like the whole 2.5 second wait between phrases in the first Mass Effect.
I hate how you're options are to either question the boy's or age or question the boy's age... It always gets me when I can't get Shepherd to do what I'd do (not give a fuck)
@KainLupus13 Gotta keep in mind that Shepard, unlike the protagonist in a game like Fallout 3 or Dragon Age Origins, is pre-defined to certain degree.. she / he has a personality and the player only gets to choose between variations of how she/he might behave. Shepard is not an extension of you (the player) unlike in other RPGs. In a game like Fallout 3, you have freedom to ignore whomever you want.. but it sacrifices character development and dramatic effect to give the player that freedom.
@Hathur99 Have to disagree with you there. Fallout 3 was frustratingly linear, at least as far as the Main Quest goes. You have to look for the Father who abandoned you, you have to side with the arrogant jerks of the Brotherhood and you have to either give your life for Purity or ask someone else to (especially frustrating when she fucking asks if you wanna toss a cap and you can't say yes)
A much better (IMO) example would be New Vegas. Now *that* is freedom (relatively speaking)
@renardo3333 Indeed. The worst bit is the end. You're choices are to sacrifice yourself or tell someone to sacrifice herself. No rock-paper-scissors, no walk-the-fuck-away, it's bullshit
@Hathur99 Plus, they had a gap for the renegade response in this instance. I don't understand why they didn't fill it.
I'm only nitpicking, really, modern videogames are the best there have ever been. It's just frustrating to almost be able to do whatever you would actually personally do in a situation but to run into railroads two or three times a game
@Hathur99 yeahbut when you interect with NPC's in fallout and other RPG's you still only have four or five resoponses to choose the only difference is your character has no voice, so it is just as much an "extension of you" as Shepard or Hawke.
@Hathur99 Thanks for the video but I can't agree with this at all about the protagonist.
You can't tell me walking away and having no dialogue options at all would be that hard to code. It doesn't alter his personality of being a badass at times either. I loved ME2 for many reasons, but what you are saying here about sacrificing character development is plain wrong, characters develop plenty in old school RPG's
@xKissingShadowsx That code works for PC & Xbox... modding the hair style is only for PC (though I hear it can be done on Xbox.. but its apparently a bit complicated)... anyhow the face code will give you that face to use and you can just select a different hairstyle.
