  • RIP Gaines Adams

  • BAD PICK! RIP

  • @2taggs2 how is that a bad pick

  • @jrock8693

Seriously? How is that a bad pick??

The Bucs traded him in only his third year for a second round pick -- and he died.

You're saying this was not a bust??

  • @2taggs2 have you ever heard of late bloomer like james harrison. cause he died U sAy bust have some heart

  • @jrock8693

DE is probably the easiest position to learn in the NFL -- If he was so great and not a bust, why did Tampa Bay trade him in only his third year?

Face it, he was a bust. It is a shame that he passed away, but that doesn't mean I can't have an obvious opinion about him being a bust.

  • RIP

  • RIP Gaines Adams.

  • R.I.P. Gaines Adams.

  • R.I.P. Gaines Adams.

  • LOL @ picking Gaines Adams over AP.

  • So did the other 5 teams with the 6 picks before AP got taken.

  • Frankly, I can't blame those teams. Peterson had some injury issues in college, and not surprisingly, it scared those teams from touching him. But as they say, hindsight is always 20/20.

  • lol keyshawn... "they gotta pick somebody that will help them win" lol thanx tips

  • I get what you are saying...but the key to what Keyshawn said was "right now"...that makes the "they need to pick someone to help them win" comment relevant...add his complete statement there......LOL.....meaning they (the team on the clock...Tampa) doesnt have time to think "rebuild", and Gruden cannot afford to wait for a guy to develop.....a slow developer or a risky pick.... can delay a program 3-5 years while waiting for that return on investment that may never materialize...and cost a job

  • lol

  • He was a good pick, replaced Simeon Rice. Bright future for him
