  • @kojchi17 accepted your contact request btw.good luck out there!

  • I get like the fel of how the clouds move in the sky like how you can get different types cause at times its gentle then theres a sudden gush of violence I love it its exicteing nice to listen to even my cat bailey likes it :D We should work together again at some poitn! Because it was really fun last time :D x Nice job I love your work still xx

  • Very Masashi-like. I love it!!

  • I felt all tingly when I heard this lol. Seriously nice composition.

  • There's a part where the timing gets really weird; did you slow down and speed up the tempo, or did you just use weird/unexpected time values for the notes? AMAZING piece by the way, I love all your compositions, particularly the polytonal ones.

  • Wow beautiful piece! You pertinacious its been a while since I've been around. It turns out I've missed out on a lot of great music! Yours to no avail, is one of my favorites so far. Even though you only use two instruments, (dual piano) it's so fluent, fast, elegant, and beautiful that I'm able to listen to it over and over again without losing interest. You're an amazing composer man. Keep up the great work!

  • could you tell me names of artists who make music like yours.. very similar? please... its very interesing..

  • hey nice piece man :D very interesing... your piece Infinite Moons ahhh!! a loved!

  • wow

  • This is fantastic!

  • wow, something very pretty emerged from the depths of someones mind =)

I could really see this turned into a battle piece

(or it could be the piano interpretation of a battle piece)

although for my ears it sounds very jumpy and cheerful but also quite hectical.

but yet very controlled...paceful speading! =)

    just my 2 cents^^

  • Thank you Pertinacious! I love your music. Actually, you are the person who made me like the piano more. :) Your music is truly inspiring! Keep up the good work!!!

  • Magnífico, como todo lo que haces. Siempre me sabe a poco. Pero tambien es cierto que siempre lo puedo volver a oir. Gracias por tu música

  • In one word, Bravo !

  • Thanks for this piece of music, Pertinacious One. You have filled a void with something beautiful.

  • That sky's affection looks hellish in that picture lol. I really like the song. The tempo switch really got me. I like how fast and hectic it was and then all of a sudden it's like you get thrown into the eye of the hurricane.

  • Glad to hear this complete. You amaze me "PertinaciousOne". Though I'm not one for this genre... I quite like it!

  • This piece flows without a hinge. It moves as though its comming directly down a stream; a stream of your brainwaves. The transitions are a little stark, but that is what I think you were trying to embody. The way the two pianos are arranged together brings tension to the piece. Almost as though they are partners forced together by fate, but who also have had a previous bout with one another. Overall, very nice and I can;t wait for the other Mvts..

  • I must be real, that I like this song. Your style reminds me a bit of Prokofiev. Good Job.

  • immense!

  • Oh I missed you :D

I can't say what I particularly like about your music since I lack music vocabulary and music knowledge to do so, but it is fabulous ! Thanks for taking time to upload!

  • I find that the pictue is easily relatable to the picture, perhaps the music is a climactic battle theme for the soldiers approaching the giant mountain monster in the distance. The music doesnt appear to be too menacing so despite the monster's size, the battle will be valiantly won by the soldiers and all the world will be saved. That's the feeling I get from looking at the picture while listening to the piece.

  • sounds like a piano collection! i love it lol :) good job!

  • @FantasygirlIX was just thinking that it sounded a bit like one of the ffx decisive battle collections or something

  • I cannot place where this song belongs, its both a song of high adventure and also of a fast paced battle. In a word it seems to suggest haste, as though one has a destination of great importance, and yet every step is met with a distraction to send you off on some useless errand, all to keep you from achieving your goal.

Musically this is a great piece, the energy and bounce from the staccattos and dynamic spikes creates this very fast and yet fun feeling of speed....(tbc)

  • @BackToTheFoundation (continued) constantly shifting tempos and themes keeps the listener on their toes as the song envelopes the mind. I like the ostenato? of the high A6 (I think that's the note), breaking up the rapid fluttering arpeggios. This is something of a strong characteristic in your compositions, as I've heard it before. It adds a great effect. and you must be a wizard of wrighting because you seamlessly moved from insane fast fluttering piano to slow almost cool jazz perfectly.

  • Someone please tell me who´s the genious behind the artwork shown in this video.

Amazing piano player also I should mention.

  • I'm just a fan of music, so I have no professional opinion. I can tell you that I like, is nice and I like the clarity of execution.

  • Love your technique John. You definitely know and understand your chordage and harmonics. Very technical, yet melody still remains there. Love the flow between stress and cadences. Keep it up friend! Reminds me a lot of FFX PC tracks.

  • jrpg polka ;D

  • Amazing work. ~Faved. :) <3

  • John this is amazing, DAD would be proud

  • Very very cool, it sounds like some sort of fantastical jig, with a tiny dash of Jrpg on the end.

nice stuff, although I disagree! I think the image works well! it's like taking it from the perspective of a town.

"Holy balls there's a spider volcano heading this way!"

  • Love your music, it somehow takes hold of my mind, thank you again

  • fascinating !! hope to watch real performance

  • awesome john!

  • hello

really it is fantastic.would you mind change that picture, because it is not match your good composition.

    THANKS

  • This sounds absolutely awesome!

Sounds like something I'd hear in a tough boss battle! :D

  • A good example of expressing emotion is in the piece "peter and the wolf." While the style of music is different from yours, you can immediately tell the emotion. same goes for "sorcerer's apprentice." emotion is KEY for movies and games' cut scenes. If you didn't have that then music, like all the music in most games these days are video game stage music, expressing nothing but the mood of the location. Other then that, keep doing what your doing. Your style is great, now just fly over the sky.

  • @jcudal32

Thank you very much for your effort in writing comments; not a lot of people bother with that, nowadays. :)

As far as emotion goes, I just write what I feel; these are pieces meant for the sake of music rather than a soundtrack to a film or game. :3 When I compose music, feelings go through my mind rather than places or stories. Thus, I enjoy writing as freely as I can!

I hope that clarified some of what you might have been wondering! :D

  • @PertinaciousOne Ah! basically writing for enjoyment. Do you know if you're going to become a composer someday? your still young so you dont have to answer that question. Anyways, no objections there. keep doing what your doing =P. Btw, some of your pieces are strong in emotion: ei sun's kiss, which I think deserves views. You know I'm glad you advertised yourself. I would have never heard your music.

  • alrighty, you really like the light fluttering piano stuff. This is some really stuff. *Bobs head*

  • @BackToTheFoundation Really neat stuff, its some really neat stuff. Its some really stuff...

Dang man that dang ol' stuff is sho is stuff man shoot dang.

  • comment!

  • When i start a studio, I am soooooo hiring you as my composer. Not to many classical composers these days.

  • @jcudal32 By the way, can you orchestra music or are you an exclusive to piano? Your style of music would be great for it.

  • @jcudal32

Thank you so much, my friend!!! ;D Glad you liked it!

And yes, I orchestrate. :) I mainly upload my piano pieces to Youtube, though. The rest is in an unorganized pile of paper, waiting to be performed - lololol. ;D

  • @PertinaciousOne nice. In a few years, you will stand out in the industry while everyone does the same epic orchestra/digital music for movies, games etc. You have potential my friend =P. I'm not an expert on music, but your music feels like it has heart and soul. I can feel the craftsmanship in this and in your other songs. A little thing I notice though. it's a little hard for me to find the target mood for your songs. for example...
