I was a teenager in 1976 when John Denver was becoming a star. We just moved to Colorado and each and every day was an amazing blessing. We discovered the high country and I was on top of the world. I eventually grew up and John Denver music set a tone for my life. When he died, I was very sad to say the least. It seems that he had just started his second chance. Life is indeed a journey, enjoy the ride. Annie's song is the best.

This 1974 pop song is certainly one of John Denver's signature songs, and it's arguably one of the best pop songs from the 70's, the lyrics are so profound, yet simplified, he paints the picture so well with them. I know his first wife Annie has to smile when she hears this song, even after all of the years later, I'm sure it has a special place in her heart, great video for a classic 70's song.
