Well I'm from Michigan in the US so I'm used to humidity. There are times when it's hotter and more humid in Michigan than it is at the same time in Tokyo. That doesn't mean I enjoy it but at least it's nothing new.
One of my friends had some couchsurfers over from England and decided to go to a hostel because they decided it was too hot and humid here after one night at my friend's place. It is indeed pretty warm, but not *that* warm. ^_^
Wow Tokyo looks great like that. here in Leon Guanajuato Mexico (where i live), it's supposed to be raining season since may, but oddly enough it's hasn't rained a bit, but instead it's really really hot, i kinda miss the rain hehe.
Hiya! From my puter it isn't really visible, but the roar is pretty apparent. It went on for another half an hour and has since tapered off, although it might still be raining...can't tell.

Yeah it was pretty heavy compared to what I'm used to. When it rains that hard where I'm from it stops or lightens up pretty quickly.
