I should hate this man.He has just shorted Sterling., but he is the financial messiah .
Listen to this man. Read his book 'Adventure Capitalist' The underlying comercial thinking, whilst uncomfortable in the West, is spot on. The alternative is learning to hoe the land with a horse drawn plough, protectionalism, and a return to the Victorian era , if we can still find the skills
cHINA TAKING sIBERIA FROM rUSSIA? fUNNY Can't wait for them to try that we think things are rosey between China and Russia think again. That being said everytime another power is aout to over take America they fuck up just look in the 70s we were on the brink than we can back this new China/new Russia crap isn;t going to last long.
oh, they have already... russians are more fixated to the west of russia, whilst the chinese move in to capitalise in its resources... Jim rogers said that china took over there "de facto"... no need to throw bombs and fire bullets.....
Fengcheng can among other things mean the Forbidden City, which doesn't really matter here since the handle name is fengchen, without the g at the end. Besides, Chinese names don't normally form word compounds, they are just separate characters placed after each other.
Correction: Mongolia was part of the Qing Empire, but not the 30% (!) of the entire Asian continent that is Siberia.
"Bajkal" in Chinese spells: 贝加尔. The characters read bei-jia-er, and are typically used to capture the phonetics of foreign words. "Baikal" is thought to be Yakut in origin.
Doesn't Rogers do the slightest fact check before his speeches? And who thinks 75% of Russia was Chinese 150 years ago anyway? I'm blown away by this nonsense.
Elbottoo, so then it must have belonged to China before 1850? It didn't.
To be fair, a tiny portion of modern day Siberia, 2-3 % in my quick estimation, north of modern day Heilongjiang and Jilin were at that time part of the Qing empire. Just like any territorial borders move over history, so has Siberia's. But to conclude that hence "Siberia" was a part of China and to use that notion to build an argument about the future, that's a little embarrassing.
CyberJamilonc, it's useless to tell the truth of things to them. US is totally consumed in their own world and have lost perception in a global sense. The PRC will become a super economic power; AND it will not achieve this through military dominance. It's easy for the traders to see all these happening; but for the rest, they will be dwelling in the past glory of the USofA.
@70sRocks some of us... some are not aware. are you going to include us non-conformists, the people of america who can see between the media's lies, corruption of the feds, and the world wide problems affecting everyone? I myself am a 15 year old. I know there's no al quaeda. i know we are manipulated. i do not watch news stations, relying all my information from cited sources on the web. but china is just as capitalistic, it's citizens are drones; so there is no use claiming supremacy.
@quidnick I specifically pointed out that the PRC will become a super ECONOMIC power. But in terms of various social values and equalities, you and I are at the same page; no, there is no supremacy on that front. And the PRC, in time, will and must recognize the importance of the definitions of equalities and social values in order to ensure the continuance of her economic might.
@quidnick . Thank you for your response. 1) No, for the Americans who have the ability to read between the lines of things, they are not included on my comments. 2) It takes Hong Kong, a small island that one can't even see on the world map, to get rid of inequalities and corruptions and become a world's financial center. Naturally, it will take a much longer period of time for a big country like the PRC to come to their senses. 3) Depends upon what you are looking at in terms of supremacy.
thx 4 comment, tats all i got now thou, will ask ma frenz who taped it at conference, however there is no guarntee. if cant find it let me post some other stuff related to Jim.

lol, a conference on "Asian Leadership" and Caucasians are the speakers, lol! good one!
jingfengchen24 3 years ago
So are you saying that a conference about Asia should only invite Asians? There are Caucasians along with other non-Asians living in Asia too.
And even if the speaker isn't living in Asia, what is wrong with inviting someone from another continent to share their point of views?
chankljp 2 years ago 2
First of all, Jim does live in Asia.
Second of all, smart people dont look at the color of ones skin. Professors from around the world are often invited to speak and even to teach.
Only stupid people look at someones skincolor. This fake China guy (Fengcheng isnt even a word, kid) has proven his low IQ.
