  • where did you find a motor for your car...i need to find one for my car

  • do you still have this problem? because that can be your engine fuse!!!!!

  • i can hear the head gasket in the video. what did u do to blow the head gasket? run it too high an rpm?

  • You have a compression problem! Scan the check engine light. If you have a p301, its a compression. get it tested.

  • It can be a compression problem also! my cylinder one is only pushing 30psi,when it should be at 120-130 psi. I changed the coilpacks, the injector and the spark plugs. If the sparkplugs are crusted it could be the injector BUT BEFORE you spend 100.00 for a new injector, check the compression. Check the check engine light if you have a P301 code you have a misfire!!!! meaning it could be the O-rings or the pistion Sorry!!!!!

  • This seems to be the same problem that I have with my 1991 Mazda protege. Did yours burn allot of oil? Because my car sounds the exact same way when I try to start it and it takes FOREVER to start then when it does start it runs really rough for a minute or two then smooths out. After that it smokes allot and likes to stall out in the worst places. Unfortunately it's just as hard if not more hard to start when the engine is warm.

  • im gonna have to go with the ignition coil packs the protege comes with two.. instead of your standard distributer .. but first check your sparkplugs .. when you turn it over it sounds like it wants to go.. do not crank engine for more than 10 seconds or it may cause more problems.. but if you were messing around near the pulley your timing could be off .. also an easy fix just look for the timing marks and line it up

  • Check your whole ignition system. That's mind-boggling.

  • it was the head gasket guys the MAF is in the correct area..

  • is the mass air flow in the wrong side ???

  • this would be the wires put in the wrond spot i've see this problem in a couple of cars.

  • turned out to be blown head gasket. fixed it still something wasnt right, timing seemd off and there was heavy valve tapping, so i got new motor and trans still have the old one doesnt seem like a serious problem mayb just new lifters or something are needed

  • what is wrong with it

  • yo u find out wats wrong yet

  • yes

  • are your spark wires in the correct order?
