@AARblakfan1984 Calvin Harris, Cathy Dennis, and Roisin wrote it for "Overpowered", but Roisin decided it didn't fit in with the feel of the album overall so didn't include it. So Calvin Harris took it to Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

I much prefer Roisin's vocals, but it does feel a lot more like an SEB song than a Roisin song.

I like both, but the awful thing is that I can't decide who's version I like more. I think I prefer the actual MUSIC in Roisin's version better. Roisin's voice has more "feeling" in it, too.

With Sophie's verison (which I think is still excellent) the music itself sounds slightly subdued and E.B.'s voice sounds detached and cold. Like she's just phoning it in.

Don't get me wrong; I love them both to death for different reasons. But I can't choose. It's like Sophie's Choice. Ha ha.

I agree. Don't get me wrong, I love murder on the dancefloor, music gets the best of me, get over you, etc... but this song just doesn't suit Sophie to me. Roisin does have a lot more feeling in her voice. Most of the time Sophie sounds pretty robotic like she's trying as hard as she can. A good singer shouldn't have to try. Like Roisin and Kylie for example

@SoftTacoTV Please, don't compare Roisin to Kylie... Roisin is far more talented and original and her music is truly original... plus, I think her voice is incredible, neither Kylie nor Sophie can keep up with her!
