  • Truly a great song.

  • Like it if you're listening to this in 2012

    Arggh.My 13 AD cassette doesn't work anymore...My childhood song..

  • really i like 13AD

  • I think these guys were real international quality. Sad that in their heydays the net never was around..who knows.

  • bad: weak vocals, goofy riff

    good: great drums, flow

source: lisening to classic rock since 1999

  • @skygazerrr Agree :-) In my opinion the goofy riff is something that couldve been fixed to some extend by the production team. Theres the burnin' hot solo to make up for it

  • good video and song

  • nice song

  • nice songggggggggggg

  • oh god am in love with this... true legends who wer wellahead of their times..

  • Love 13 AD, have seen them perform live....in Cochin, in Mangalore...Ground Zero is probably India's best gift to Rock Music...Glen u rocked! Cheers from Brisbane.

  • This song brings loads of memories. My dad used to play this every morning to wake me up when i was a kid. Everytime I hear this song, the picture of 5 men standing on the cover of their Ground Zero album comes to my mind. Awesome guitar solo \m/

  • They were before times. Those days, all were after Madonna and Baba Seighal and people could not realize their true talent. Pure rock. What voice Glen had! What killing guitar melodies! Miss you guys. If you were in US or any other western country, you could have been a legend by now. MISS YOU.

  • @bonirod1 check out motherjane

  • I now know why Glen La'Rive quit the band. Great talent but no message. Just reminding us that we are screwed. Ground Zero. Nothing. When there is so much that can be done. Cheers Glen keep doing your good work.

  • Can u upload the orginal video, thought that was more interesting

  • guess my pretty lucky ...ive still got ma cassette wit me

  • wow! crazy as it may sound - would like to copy it. where r u based?

  • Thanks a ton Knobss for posting this wonderful number. I have been searching for the song Ground Zero from 2002,that was the first time i heard this song bieng played.I can never ever forget this song as it was palyed during my final yr of college for the musical evening. The guys that played this songs played the keyboard part on the lead guitar and it was mind blowing.Since then i have been trying to get hold of 13 Ad tape or cd. At last my i find it here and wish fullfilled.

  • Yeah, Thats my best friends dad!

  • epitaph on 13AD. Too old to rock n roll...

  • FU charlie

  • Respect, Gentlemen. No Indian band has released anything close to 'Ground Zero'. Amazing lyrics, music and guitaring. Rock Machine - a.k.a. Indus Creed was the only one to come close with their first album. Wish I knew where to get this album now (lost my copy - a red colored 'Magnasound' cassette).

  • agreed! i've lost mine too! but still remember the cover and the video!

  • and stay there!

  • 13 AD can GTH

  • 13AD was rocking since late 70's. The original line up was Petro, Pauly, Stanley... Glenn joined only after Stanley left the band in early late 80's, by then the band was famous all over India with Usha Uthup, the Pop queen of India as a G8 patron of the band.

  • This is such a great song and a great video put together, too awesome!!!!

  • 13 AD was and always will be the best rock band from India. Glen now sings with the Jesus youth band. Wish I'd been there to see the reunion!!! Thanks 13AD, you guys fly the flag high!

  • very cool Petro, All I can say is Wow!!!!

  • 13 years on vacation my ass! they forgot who was where...doing what...classic dementia! better watch them live before they go back to another 13 years 'vacation' yet again!hehe

  • Thanks for the post

  • pls upload the original version, honestly this video is muddy.. sorry..

  • 13 AD is back after more than a decade! Reunion concert at Calicut on 19th Jan 2008.

  • The original line up was classic 13AD. but the vocalist (glen) left for a 'greener pastor'... in retrospect, may be he was the wiser because the band split soon after. the new vocalist who replaced him was totally out of sync with the band...and a creepy mug face too

  • exactly i do agree on this, even though years passed by and being a native of kochin i always have a good attitude for 13ad,if i say bit more i will run back to my good old days when i hear this and still i hold it in my heart and proud to say to my nri friends long year back we hav got a band in our native known as 13AD........

  • wers glen?..i know him personally

  • I have to thank 13 AD for all the great times my friends and I had in Sealord in the early 90's. They were really the only good band in Cochin. Rock on!!

  • damn .. i mustve been 12 years when i saw the original video on DD!!

  • I've never heard of them before, but I really like this

  • ROCK ON & ON 13AD !!!

  • Every Indian city has had a rock revolution and Cochin's rock revolution was by 13AD with their rock star looks and original rock compositions. 13 AD still rocks! Are you listening Madhav Das?

  • Nice song bearing in mind this album was released around 1991-1992.This is not the original video as i remember,at the very end a man will be carrying a plaque which says something like " End of the world is near".IS it possible for that video to be put in you tube? any comments??

  • WOW , A Band from Kerala which was formed during the time when English music was not that popular in India... GREAT. Happy to hear this song again after some time..

  • nice music; don't try to lace it with falsities such as 9-11 is an inside job or that Osama is a CIA agent

  • I still love them, wish they would make a come back, never missed even once concert in cochin by them, nice guys in person also, any one have a version of George Peter on lead vocals , I beleive this is Glen

on lead vocals, Eloy is awesome as always on lead guitar.
