  • I believe this was shot in Green Bay. I was in the second row, standing at Rocky's feet, so I got a good look at Darrell's playing. Dogoone if he he didn't break a string during another song; just like the rest of us!!

  • This was shot in Pakefield at the Wildest Cats Weekender, but I know they did play at Green Bay together, but this was definatly Pakefield

  • Believe me when i say I really can't tell the difference. Rocky wore the same outfit, same guitar; so did Darrell. Song sounds exactly the same. Thanks for the info.

  • Keeping the old cats alive a dig brother

  • I have just recently heard of of Darrel Higham. This guy is just phenominal. I am kind of new to the rockabilly genre of music, so I am still trying to learn who is who and what is what.

  • Nice guitar playind and beautiful sound. Hey the original version will always be the best but at least this live version is cool! thanks for posting

  • It should also be pointed out that he is considerably older than his dad when he sang it. Just enjoy the music.

  • Please stop that ! Enjoy Rock'n'Roll !!

Maestro Higham with the Great Enforcers !! I miss them !

  • At least he keeps his memory alive.......

  • Actually it was more of an observation, but hey different strokes for different folks...

  • Sorry Rocky but your pops Johnny really could rock and Paul really kicked out a great lead for this tune...check it out in therealted vids section and you'll se what i mean.

  • What is "therealted vids" section? By the way most experts believe that Burlison didn't play lead on ´"Lonesome Train" and that it was Grady Martin". The video is probably done with playback.

  • You could be right....though point being that there is a world of difference in the two versions.....as they say "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"....but just that...imitation in this case and not an outstanding example either. Dad really knew how to rock and there was sheer raw energy in his music that comes across whenever you listen to it.

  • This is a tribute, not a competition.

  • Thanks for posting this video.
