I have afew words to say, and anyone who is reading comments please read this one, okay first off, gardisil is for SEXUALLY ACTIVE GIRLS, what girl is sexually active at the ages from 6-14, yes some are, about 1/4 of girls are. I am glad you are not going to be sexually active for a long long time, but please understand that the shot is designed to protect you from getting HPV, which means it is given BEFORE you become sexually active. That is why children your age and younger are getting the shots. Not because they are sexually active but because they will be one day.

But, please encourage your friends and family to stay sexually inactive, that is the only way to keep yourself 100% safe.

One of the problems is that there was NO long-term research done on Gardisil before it was "fast-tracked" by the FDA & released to the public. Not only have many girls been injured, THIRTY-TWO have DIED from it! Do your homework before you attempt to discourage a family from telling their story. This vaccine, at best, only protects women from 4 of the more than TWO HUNDRED HPV strains linked to cervical cancer!

I can not help but think that all the scares about this vaccine are from the christian right who object to a vaccine against an STD! Some people die from flue vaccines some from allergy to pea nuts. When all the STD's are gone what will the christian right be able to scare us with next.

I understand what you are saying, but in this case it is not the case, and it is the same situation with several other girls and women. I have vaccinated all of my children, and continued with my daughter to get this one, but my feelings have changed since our experiences with this drug. I am not against all vaccines, just this one. The risk is just not worth the possible benifits. Check it out. This is just our experience, my daughter is not the only one!

I whole heartedly agree with you to a point. I feel that some vaccines are worth the risk, such as polio. I have seen what polio can do to you, and think the alternative to the shot can be much worse. But, I also believe that some shot are not worth it. Such as Gardasil and the chicken pox shot.

I think (like you said) you should research every shot individually to see which ones are worth the risks and which ones are not. I will be the first one to admit that I didn't before, but I do now.

I got the gardasil shots last year and i'm perfectly fine. A glutathione accelerator (see DrKellerVideo[.]com) reduces inflammation by dramatically increasing glutathione levels (gmail terrimaxgxl for more info and samples) . Please note that taking glutathione orally is ineffective because stomach acids break it up.

In Sept/08, 1 firm came up (Kerry Steigerwalt) now, 5 or more firms come up, so I would encourage all of you to look into all of your legal options - whether it is class action or an individual case. Merck was also the maker of Vioxx which was taken off the market in '04 after killing approx. 28K people & many of those people were able to sue (tho I'm unsure of the outcomes). Merck & the FDA need to be held accountable! What's NB is what they knew or should have known.

Thank you, we personally have contacted a lawyer and I am waiting to hear back from him, but unfortunately, most lawyers do not want to take the case because no doctors are willing to step up and say weather or not it is a side effect of Gardasil. I have looked into legal aid, but no one is willing to take the case because no doctor is willing to say that this is directly from the shot. I just don't understand how anyone can sleep at night knowing that they are knowingly hurting this young girls like this. I am just sick of these girls being numbers and not people. She has been feeling better now. She has been diagnosed with small intestinal ulcers ( possibly crohn's). We now have her on organic foods and have used the kinoki foot pads. Since then, she has been in little to no pain. But, she is one of the lucky ones.

They have now revised the wording but I think they are misdirecting people by excluding any statistics about adverse effects. There is a 'Red Herring' psychological technique by saying the vaccine has nothing to do with mercury (diverting our attention from ALUMINIUM in the vaccine - useful generally, but not good for living cells and with longterm side effects if not eradicated.
