I've never heard of this band until I stumbled across them just now. I'd agree that they sound a little like folkearth.

My criticism though, is that i don't think the growls worked that well with the rest of the song. Don't get me wrong - in the right situation growls are amazing, but i think some kind of chanting/male chorus would have been better in this particular song.
