How did you do the two different planes. How did you get it to crawl up the wall?

the crawling up is done exactly like the planes ;-)

This looks great! All I would say is add some drop shadow to make this thing really pop. Drop shadow and maybe a touch of ambient lighting on the surfaces as it grows. Otherwise, great recreation of the tut.

there is a way you can create these flourishes in AAE but it's really a lot of work because you have to animate every single line
