@Jonah369 When I was fourteen, I made a terrible journey of self-injury and anorexia. Entering high school gave me all these insecurities and I felt like I didn't fit in and it was one of the worst adjustment periods of my life. Outwardly I looked fine but inside I was a mess. All fourteen reminds me of is scratches on my arms. So no, I don't think it's one of the best years I'll ever have.
@aleakimmikaela You don't? Why not? We have nearly everything handed to us. We're still reliant on our parents, but are getting given more freedoms. Our school work still isn't that challenging, but at the same time, things are starting to get funner, especially in the social aspect. Sports are getting more challenging. Overall, it's probably one of the best years either of us will have, or one of the years shortly coming.
Sadly, I'm 14 for a little under 3 weeks now. /sigh
@Jonah369 Yes, but my mom had cancer for a good portion of my childhood, being the oldest child I had to do everything, now I am 14, but I dont feel 14 and I never will. I am self relaint for the most part, I really want to be older so I can make a life for myself, and dont say, I am wishing away my childhood, becuase I never had one. That is why not.
@Jonah369 It depends. 14 really wasn't very fun for me. High school in general was pretty good socially, but the academics did a real number on me. I'm in my senior year in college right now, and I think I finally hit my year. xD
