  • that is excellent throttle control, nice slow drift i tried that with my 316i not enough power so i gave it some more, roundabout + rain+ bald rear tyres+ collapsed rear suspension = e30 hitting kerb with busted control arm:(

  • haha :p de rondpunt van leupegem :d

  • By the way, I had E30 coupe with 2L 6cyl, engine too, and this car was given me greatest adrenaline and proud so I understand what you feel :)

  • "...you must have done like 30 laps..."

It looks like some kind of addiction :D

  • rains great for messing around.....

less noise.. less tyre wear and less speed

    so less to go wrong

    very nice :)

  • i have an open diff in my '91 318is. on the original sways and shocks i can get it pretty slideways. its amazing the amount of handling ability these cars have. they dont leave much room for error, tho

  • Notice the Non-Schalant motion for the hazards right at 4:18.. This seems too easy for him!!

  • thanks for the comment! :)

  • respect to this guys throttle control,my e30 318is had no lsd, dont know what that guy is on about

  • thanks man!

  • open diff no?Nice verry nice man....and nice ride,respect ;) !

  • In that video I had an open diff...

    For the moment I have a 4.27 LSD 8)

  • haha SOO much fun... i wasted to many tires no more drifting in my E30

  • Track it man. Great car

  • NIce clip man.

It was recording in the rainy night in summertime?

Why just round and round...? Hhhh, just kidding :)

I have a E30 with power like in Your but 2litres and 6 cylinder engine:)

  • round and round.... nice and poised. love it

  • By the the e30 318is DOES have an LSD its the shitty e36 one that dont.

  • The LSD on the e30 is optional, I don't have one.

  • exactly, mine doesnt have one neither...

    and uhh.. nice movie man!!

  • Haha cool with the music on the background....heheh Its raining men :D

  • shit im dizzy haha. nice drifting

  • good throttle control!!!

  • Clean ride! Just one question, can you drift like that when the roads dry? Its hard as balls.

  • Thanks!

On dry roads it's almost impossible with good tires, not enough power and without LSD. ;)

  • Is 318is e30 good for drift? I'm between 318is e30(putting an lsd rightaway) and a corolla AE86. Which would be better for DRIFT? Note that i'm a BMW fan but i love hachi-roku too

  • I know this was a long time ago and you probably even made your mind up but an e30 is alot cheaper than an AE86 since the corolla is high in demand yet lacking in supply.

  • yep i can understand you cant do this with dry weather :D 1.8 motor is suitable for a hoover:D

  • GoooooooD!

    Damn, drift is like.....

once you've started nothing can stop it!

you must have done like 30 laps. it happends the same to me :D

  • great!

  • good clean harmless fun!

  • roundabout cool.... I have a Bimmer too.... :)

  • very cool. i have a 318is too.what is the name of the first song?

  • thanks!

    it's Ashanti - Rain on me ;)

  • ah ok :) thx

  • Nice beamer... im thinking in geting a 318is too

how they get old inside..i mean, are they noisy-squiseh-rattles- prone?

I really hate interior strange noises-rattles-squishes

  • They are a bit noisy if you mean wind and engine noise. Mine doesn't make any strange noises like rattles at all.. (but mine has just 130.000km so it's still spanking new ;) héhé

  • by noises i mean panel/trim vibrations.. panel squishes and rattles..not exterior/engine noises..

I own a mk2 Golf GTI and it has noises in the interior trim that drive me mad..like the seats clicking.. the dash making noises.. back panels squishing in every corner..and in every speed bum the whole thing sounds like if its falling apart.. they dont fall apart but it drives me mad

  • BMW >>>>> VW ;)

Like I said, mine doesn't make any strange noises at all... It's like a new one ;)

  • Yeah, mine is still perfect inside, no rattles, pieces falling apart, the interior quality is superb for a 20 year old car, I've even read several times in the press that it's one of the best-built bmw ever... Stepping into my parens' peugeot 306 is a world of difference! However I've had quite a few things to change with my car, the 318is feels strong but fairly prone to tiny failures here and there, you have to pay attention to its health, i think a new radiator is due...

  • yes.... well i had a 318is in the later e36 shape... and they are bad for internal trim noise. glovebox especially in mine, but dont be put off because it can be fixed easily with padding or rubber pads etc, its just body roll... plus remember the e36 brought in z-axle rear suspension, a little harder to drift in this way as it naturally does not want to oversteer.

  • cool video there great in the wet alright

  • Cool, slightly too long and repedative but good video. Maybe try and make a more interesting one, i guess safety is an issue.

  • Thx! Safety is an issue indeed :D

  • good vid,can any1 give me any tips for drifting a roundabout ???

  • very nice, good drifting :-)

  • Try watching the drift bible, you can download it.

  • now i dont feel so bad about doing it in mine!

  • Do they have a LSD?

  • Not yet ;)

  • Malaise rulezzzz
