I was there when they filmed this scene - they did it in less than 5 takes, and Robert Altman let the audience pick their favorite take. Meryl and Lily interacted with the audience between takes too - they are both extremely genuine and down-to-earth. Was an amazing experience!!

i bet alot of people may be turned off by the previews of mama mia, but omigod it's good! I recommend it for woman who's in need of confidence boost. It makes you feel remarkable about being female. Guys should enjoy it too. its a good film. It is a musical and there will be singing, but it was the right dose of movie and musical. There wont be constant singing throughout; If you dont prefer that.

this movie is set in my home state, and i love it. it's very much an inside joke, if you are not from here, or have relatives here, it can be difficult. love this song. i don't know if it'll ever be our state song. meryl did the minnesota accent and demeanor perfectly! i dont know who she talked to, but she could be playing my mother. very traditonal minneostan. most of my relatives talk like her. great clip!

I think you'd have to be a fan of the radio show to like this movie. I love the radio show and had to watch this movie 3 times to like it. This movie made me a Meryl Streep fan, I've always liked Lily Tomlin and Woody Harrelson, but couldn't see what all the hype about Lindsay Lohan is. ACtually the radio show is better than what is depicted here.
