Instead of your:

Now I do realize

What his feelings have been like

And I know that my love was

Just one-sided

But, from the context, your interpretation may be right.

i actually perfer akina or hiromi iwasaki's version over mariya..(personally, I don't like mariya's voice as it is too westernized and I always find her japanese pronounciation a bit strange..) i am from all over the world, now in canada

私の拙い Movie をご覧いただき、ありがとうございました。　おっしゃるとおり、歌詞をそのまま直訳したのではうまく曲に収ま­らなくなってしまいますので、出来るだけ本来の意を変えないよう­にしながら、曲の「サイズ」にぴったりするような英詞を作ってい­かねばならず、ちょっと手間のかかる作業ではあります。でもそれ­もまた面白いものです。　とは言いましても、私の場合韻を踏ませているわけでもなく、ごく­テキトウなもので、本来ならもっとじっくり練って作らねばならな­いのですが、まあいいか、ってな感じでやっております。
