  • lol just watched this movie with my mom. she grew up with 'em & she's made sure i have too

  • This is great! I hope the generations to come will see it as a classic. I was about 13 yrs then and at 61 I see many changes in style. Oh my gosh our hair we all tried to look 21 I guess.

  • I met Dick Dale in about 1964 at a p[lace called Harmony Park in Anaheim Ca. Pamela Delacy my friends Shadow and others later created a groupie following fan club called Dick Dale regulars. Does anyone out there Remember going to The oasis in Buena Park,Ca or Corona Delmar,or a place in Sanberdino,Ca? My friends and I Debora Ames also went to his place in Costa Mesa Ca and got to meet his lions and perona fish. He also brought his lion to the Oasis in Buena Park,Ca.

  • @dorkhunter1 LOVE AIP! Besides Beach flicks, they did all sorts of fun exploitation pics (jd flicks in the '50's for example.) And they imported Japanese monster flicks here, too. Fun stuff.

  • Is that Miki Dora (The Legend!) the guy with orange and white short pants dancing and jumping on the top right corner at the beginning of the video?

  • Pig Brissels

  • My father and I used to watch these beach movies all the time. they are still better than any teen/summer movie made today.

  • I kind of like the looks of this movie better than Grease, which Grease had adult content that Beach Party doesn't.

  • I always felt that Eric von Zipper, Harvey Lemback, was the real star of these movies. Unfortunately my brief history as a biker mirrored his to closely for comfort.

  • Beach Party was on TCM this morning @ 1100 hours - It was good to see again.

  • There was a 1985 sequel, "Back to the Beach" starring Frankie and Annette. It was actually a pretty cute movie. Did a good job of capturing the original goofiness.

  • there were several sequels. just a to name a few, bikini beach, beach blanket bingo, muscle beach party.. thats all i can remember.

  • Love it !
