I've been put into Community Action Programme into a place that requires getting 2 buses and when I said I might not be able to attend the appointed time the lady (who's been aggressive with me before) said "You will lose your benefits" simply for being honest.

@dolesponger it has been revealed in a government white paper that from 2013 the majority of people who claim a hardship allowance after being sanctioned will no longer receive this life saving payment. only sum1 who is pregnant and other ''vulnerable'' ''deserving'' types will qualify.. from 2013 if your jobcentre adviser thinks u have committed an ''offence'' u will also no longer be allowed to appeal this decision. your basically gonna be told 2 either go 2 a food bank or starve 2 death.

What happens to Graduates, skilled unemployed or professionals? Will they be made to sweep the streets or similar work for benefit money. Thats the situation I'm in and they try to get me to agree to warehousing posts because that was my first ever job when I was a goaless youth. There needs to be a peaceful protest against what is arguably punitive slave labour scheme. With such free labour available, the employed will lose their jobs.

So, for example, if there are unemployed graduate engineers, send them to clubs that keep those skills alive - it can be done online. I can see how long-term unemployed can give up looking for work because of the heavy feeling of hopelessness and despair. Well, send them once a week for half day sessions someone can guide them or locate proper jobs.

This is ballox I've been sancioned for 2 years now, after one ends they find any excuse for anouther. This is criminal, I hope they burn, others rise up against this repression. Three sanctions one from illness, one because advisor gave me a driving job (i have no license) most recent one because while (I was still sanctioned & not recieving any money) I didnt attend a interview 25 miles away. All 3 sanctions were 26weeks, no 3 strikes lark they repress & destroy families that are vunerable.

@DarkChrisHour i was threw off the sick after working 22 yrs..i was due a medical but lost a family member and we buried him 2 days before appointment ..forgot appointment,they wanted proof of death.when and were funral took place name of church and proof of his death from local paper! gave them it..threw me off sick said availble for work but the dates back dated matched when i was in a hospital bed havn surgry dont they read sick notes?
