A pro icehockey player can make millions in many different countries. Hell, Jaromir Jagr is making close to 10 million euros a year in Russia.

In the UK Hockey is an amateur sport, as it is in most countries. England's Richard Mantell works for Adidas. Players may recieve sponsorship deals, but they all have a job outisde of hockey. That doesn't undermine how good they are.

The Netherlands have dropped off a bit recently. The cuurent mens rankings are:
