Dat ligt inderdaad aan YouTube en de manier waarop ik de video van de videoband heb opgenomen. Niet aan de vertaling, die is prima, en de zang die is schitterend. Van Bart Bosch weet ik het niet maar Laura Vlasblom is een zangeres. Plus dat de regisseur echt geen valse noten in de noten in de film zou toelaten.

als reactie op de comment beneden dat het nederlands niet geschikt is om je emoties in uit te drukken. dat is zo een onzin, vind ik. ik vond vroeger ook altijd de engelse versies van films mooier en had een hekel aan nederlandse muziek etc, maar dat is gewoon een beetje kinderachtig. het nederlands is een prachtige taal en tegenwoordig vind ik veel nederlandse versies mooier. bijvoorbeeld van de musical aida. je moet het nederlands gewoon even opnieuw leren herwaarderen.

Why is this post hidden?? I totally agree! I'm a native Dutch speaker myself, but I think the English version is waaaay better. If you knew the Dutch language you would know that Dutch is a very cold language, unfit to express your emotions in a way that sounds good.

Everybody is entitled of their own opinion anyway but I find it offensive for someone to say that another country's language identity is ugly. Well, if you speak/understand English and you don't speak/understand Dutch, it's logical, I guess. Even if you know you don't understand a language, it's natural to trý. And some words might sound like a different language that you dó understand. I can listen to an Arabic language and think I'm hearing a Dutch/English/French/German/La­tin/Old-Greek word, because those are languages I understand. It's no more than logical, I think ;)
