this might be a dumb question but i'll ask anyway...does it leak at all? and if so, badly enough to where i wouldn't want to use it in 40-50 F degree water?
how do you like this im either gonna get this or a trolling motor for the front of my jon boat i want to get this soo i can go in places my jon boat cant go bc of the trolling motor hitting the bottom and the boat bottoming out soo plzz tell me what you think of the kayak
I would say in some of the streams that I have been in I have floated through less than 3 inches of water. It's a tough kayak so I wouldn't be afraid to scrape it along the rocks.
I just bought 2 pelican castaways for me and my girlfriend the other day. We got a chance to take them out for the first time this past weekend and loved them. We went out on the bay and found they handled well and we're alot of fun. Im looking forward to using them alot this spring/summer. Thanks for the video!
yeah, they are great for the money and it works so well for getting into rivers and ponds that I can't get my normal boat in. Also, for those who have asked, the self bailing system works great! I love the sit on top kayak style.
i have the same question, i have had good luck with the pelican cases at work (ive seen them take alot of abuse, and hold up good). i want to get out and start fishing again and i love to canoe, so i want to get into kayak fishing
I love the Kayak. It really comes stock with everything you need for fishing. It has 3 rod holders, plenty of storage, paddle, and comfortable seat. They are more stable than I anticipated and have even taken into some rough rivers with lots of rocks. It has been very durable!
the Kayak has water holes that let water out of the foot and seat area if water runs over the edge. there are never leaks in the dry hatches.

Just took mine out on the surf for the first time. Handled great, and hauled in a nice bluefish. great fun!

the self bailing system works well and it is a great entry level fishing Kayak. Very stable with lots of room.
