Essentially, an environment was created where some banks accepted funds from the Fed at great cost and risk and become highly selective about who they lent it out to. In essence there is too much risk attached to loans. The trick that was played with money before was not the same. It was the far other end of the spectrum. There was little to no risk involved.
@Solarin1116 Economist say the stimulus wasn't enough. I agree, we have a liquidty crisis, just like in the last great depression. Bush got the 3 page TARP ball rolling, alot of that money was spent buying other banks and invested overseas, it didn't due much to stimulate the US economy.

The majority of investors aren't silly, and shoving "yet to be collected" tax funds into an economy is tantamount to robbing Peter to pay Paul. They know there is no real growth. Taking money from your left pocket and putting it into your right pocket does not mean your achieved a net gain. It means is that government gets to place money where they want it to go at a loss.

Obviously I can't answer this fully in 432 characters. The idea that black skin (not dark) was somehow related to the Curse of Cain was started after Joseph Smith, after the abuse of the priesthood by a single black man. The philosophy of this doctrine was that somehow blacks were unworthy to receive the priesthood because of skin. Well, about 40 years ago, the church said this doctrine was no longer in effect and allowed for black members to receive the priesthood.
Because we believe in the existence of a living prophet, in addition to current revelation, doctrine can change over time (polygamy). The extent of this particular racism was that black individuals could not perform specific ordinances within the church. They now can. Thus, that ended 40 years ago with much relief throughout the church since it was extremely uncomfortable for many members. This never denied them access to heaven, or any of questions you raise.
If you really want to, I think you can use this particular issue to create a sort of intellectual justification for viewing the church in a negative light. But to do so would be intellectually dishonest and ignorant. Instead, you should research from both church and non-church sources to see how LDS officials interact with minorities in America (the use of the word minorities does not seem apt since we are present en masse in a number of countries in which whites are the minorities)
So, I encourage you to actually spend some time gathering narratives of both current and ex-church members throughout the history of the church before you jump to any conclusions. I suspect you'd find that not only is the church about as non-racist as they come, but the one glaring bit of racism did not lead to the sort of discrimination that we have come to associate with racism in its past and current forms. On a personal level, I could not be a part...

The Shirley Sherrod incident that happened on thursday was just a diversion by Faux News and the White House to shield the public from the President signing an agreement renewing ties with Indonesian's notorious military unit that was responisble for the genocide of the Timorese people between 1975-2006 in the country of East Timor. Essentially, an environment was created where some banks accepted funds from the Fed at great cost and risk and become highly selective about who they lent it out to. In essence there is too much risk attached to loans. The trick that was played with money before was not the same. It was the far other end of the spectrum. There was little to no risk involved.

The majority of investors aren't silly, and shoving "yet to be collected" tax funds into an economy is tantamount to robbing Peter to pay Paul. They know there is no real growth. Taking money from your left pocket and putting it into your right pocket does not mean your achieved a net gain. It means is that government gets to place money where they want it to go at a loss.

The idea that black skin (not dark) was somehow related to the Curse of Cain was started after Joseph Smith, after the abuse of the priesthood by a single black man. The philosophy of this doctrine was that somehow blacks were unworthy to receive the priesthood because of skin. Well, about 40 years ago, the church said this doctrine was no longer in effect and allowed for black members to receive the priesthood.

Because we believe in the existence of a living prophet, in addition to current revelation, doctrine can change over time (polygamy). The extent of this particular racism was that black individuals could not perform specific ordinances within the church. They now can. Thus, that ended 40 years ago with much relief throughout the church since it was extremely uncomfortable for many members. This never denied them access to heaven, or any of questions you raise.

If you really want to, I think you can use this particular issue to create a sort of intellectual justification for viewing the church in a negative light. But to do so would be intellectually dishonest and ignorant. Instead, you should research from both church and non-church sources to see how LDS officials interact with minorities in America (the use of the word minorities does not seem apt since we are present en masse in a number of countries in which whites are the minorities)

It might make little sense and appear greedy to you, but sitting on liquid capital to cover unexpected costs is sound economic planning. Russia said we 'kidnapped' in Africa and brought to the U.S. (we did bring him here). Crowley first came close to calling the Russians liars when they said they'd not recv'd notice and this was a violation of international law. Obama admin APOLOGIZED but this has caused a 'diplomatic' issue between our countries. This is almost to the verge of being retarded.

The Shirley Sherrod incident that happened on thursday was just a diversion by Faux News and the White House to shield the public from the President signing an agreement renewing ties with Indonesian's notorious military unit that was responisble for the genocide of the Timorese people between 1975-2006 in the country of East Timor.
