  • Mabuhay! These Russian Boys Choir are superb! Able to get the right intonation/ pitch accuracy. Good Job music teacher!

  • BrAVO! Mabuhay ang Russia for singing this great song!

  • That lady conducting this song must be a Cebuana. She must be the one who pick this song..

  • Rosas Pandan - a Visayan folkloric song as sung by a Russian choir.... Fantastic!!!

  • Paytera ani oi!

  • Wonderful!!! For a Visayan like me this is easy because it is my native tongue but for these kids it would need a lot of effort to memorize and get the correct pronunciation of a foreign dialect....Bravo!

  • VERY FANTASTIC ! literally it is a funny song, the singers must execute jolly smiles and laughter in their eyes " Rosas Pandan " is a visayan folkloric song in the philippines, it was a story of a maiden lass from the mountain trading roses and pandan leaves to downtown.she happens to pass by a town festival, she invited to dance, while dancing ( dodong ) the boy watching inday ( maiden lass ) dancing dodong's saliva getting out from his mouth, and there some audience start teasing dodong.

  • Makes me wonder why they have chosen to sing this song...would you know guys?

  • Maybe it's the fantastic musical arrangement of this lively song that produces a great balance of at least 4 voices. Good musical conductors would know a good arrangement through research, observation & experience. The suggested videos here may attest to that as this choral piece is popularly sung by many choirs worldwide. Credit goes to the composer or arranger and because of the conductor, this choir did a good job in singing one of the many great & classic BISAYA folk songs.

  • Bravo! Music is indeed international and knows no boundaries.

  • Ani-a si Rosas Pandan Gikan pa intawon sa kabukiran Kaninyo'y makiguban-uban Ning gisaulog nga kalingawan Balitaw da'y akong puhunan maoy kabilin sa akong ginikanan Awit nga labing karaan nga garbo sa atong kabungturan Tikading tikading tikading Ay-ay sa 'tong balitaw Maanindot pa mo sayaw Daw yamog nga kabugnaw Tikadong tikadong tikadong Intawon usab si Dodong Nagtan-aw kang Inday Nagtabisay ang laway

Pagkaanindot gayud paminawon sa awit nga labing karaan ug daghan kaayo salamat (It's so beautiful to hear this classic song and thank you so much)!

  • The lyrics is not russian it is a Philippine Dialect we call Bisaya. Who ever thought of this idea to perform this piece must have been fond of the Philippines in particular of the central and southern part of it where mostly are speaking Bisaya dialect. I'm proud to be Bisaya! THis is absolutely stunning! PAGKANINDOT!!! which means SO BEAUTIFUL

  • proud to be bisaya hahaha

  • Kudos, excellent performance

  • Maayo kaayo.

  • way molupig sa mga bisaya! so prouuuuuuuud!!!!
