how can i get a higher quality when publishing it? even if i click on high quality on youtube, the video doesn't come out anywhere NEAR as clear as on imovie.
When I click publish, the bar stops and it somehow stops my wireless internet connection from connecting. As soon as I close iMovie, my internet signal comes back. Please Help!!!
On a Mac, You can use standard Digital Video cameras (the ones that tapes. NTSC and PAL) HDV cameras (720p and 1080i) some digital still cameras (MPEG 4) and the iSight cameras (comes with most new macs, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro)
You can use Hard disk based camcorders as well i think, but you don't capture the footage like DV and HDV cameras, they are more like still cameras. one new format that doesn't work is the new mini DVD based camcorders as you can't edit the footage on the DVD

You re-export it in quicktime or MPEG Streamclip in H.264. that should do.
