  • What was the metal sling you had that had the pocket? I SO want one of those! I have the Nojo and love it, but I think the pocket would be very handy! :)

  • Thank you, out of all the "how tos" ive learned on youtube yours was the easiest to understand and the most helpful!

  • Your so smart and your baby is so cute I love your videos!!!

  • I watched about 10 videos and learned the most from yours! thanks for demonstrating, and the tip about fabric yardage...

  • Wow, thank you for this video! I am some 88 days away from welcoming my second sweet baby into the world and I have a moby and access to a few other slings. This video made it simple for me to choose which will be right for me.

  • Great video! Thank you so much for making this aikoart!!! you have a very positive and friendly attitude and I learnt a lot from watching this vid! I too am a larger person so it's good to know we're not alone lol :-) Thanks!

  • That first sling was recalled because baby smothered in it. Its design makes it impossible to use safely.

  • I LOVE watching your videos and I love baby wearing. Thanks for some much info especially on ring slings.

  • very well presented! you seem to have a knack for this. : ) Thank you for the information.

  • hi there thank you for video I use a wheelchair and was wondering if the last wrap the long cloth would be most pratical as it looks more adaptive from baby to toddler.

is this possible. can you use from new born or does baby need to be supporting head before this still can be used.... I start Ivf june so i being a bit hopeful still lol... thanks again

  • If you have paralysis above your waist, you may find that it might be difficult to manage a wrap & you should use the ring sling. Otherwise, I would recommend the wrap for versatility. Both the ring sling & wrap are good for newborns & up to 45lbs. Good Luck with your IVF! Best wishes to you! Let me know if you have more questions.

  • @aikoart many thanks for reply. having looked more I can see ring sling could be the thing...

  • So glad I could help. Please email me if you need further instructions. Depending on your frame size & back strength, you might be able to pull off a pouch sling too. I don't use a pouch sling but a dear friend of mine only uses the pouch.

  • I should maybe get myself a ring sling in due time or a Mei Tai carrier. Anyone try one?? Summer is nearing and my son is ready for back carrying.

  • awe! Thanks for the video! I myself have a "peanut shell" style sling and a "moby" style sling. i like the peanut for quick stops to the store or to family, but cannot wear it very long anymore as my son is now 18 pounds!

The moby style slings are GREAT!! as i does take a little time to set up, but no more than it takes to take out a stroller from the trunk and unfold it. It's great for long wear!

  • this was very informative. i would really like to try this (especially the last one) when i have mine, but i think i might be too paranoid to do it. is it really secure? and i see where you said to start this from birth but is the last sling you showed ok for new borns??? and can you breast feed like that? i heard something about breast feeding in a sling but i dont get it

  • I can imagine your worry. It is very secure & will be great for newborns. They are used to being in the womb & LOVE being next to mama!

You can breastfeed with a sling. Just google it to find pictures. Let me know if you have more questions. Good luck & congratulations!!!

  • oh thank you for replying! i was worried since this video was older i might not get an answer. no congrats yet. we havent even started lol. but i think we'll start trying this summer. i've already favorited (dont think thats a word lol) this vidoe to watch again when i'm ready so you will hear from me again lol

  • Thankyou for posting this video. I'm trying to choose which wrap/ sling option to go with and this video was extremely helpful!

  • Wow thanks so much! Your videos are really well presented and very informative; they're the best out there!

    Thanks again.

  • Thanks so much!! So helpful to see a real sized mamma trying on slings. I used a wrap from birth till now (4months) and I'm now curious about a sling. Thanks a million!

  • thank you for teaching me how to wear my baby! you are awesome.

  • We're now figuring out which wrap/sling/etc. to use. Very helpful and great demo. Thanks so much for sharing!

  • Great! I prefer wraps, ring slings are not great if I want to carry my son for a long time:)

  • Thanks for posting this video- very informative! Thanks again

  • Thanks for posting. It's hard for fuller figured moms to find a good wrap.

  • Wow, the moby wrap looks so easy to do, but my son will probably be a month old by the time I want to use a wrap. I'm debating which wrap would be the best for a 1 month old.

This video was very helpful! :)

  • Regardless of what method you choose, I would recommend wearing your baby from birth. Research shows, they do so well next to your body since they have been in the womb 24hrs a day. Whether you stay home with him or have someone take care of him, be sure to wear him often. He will sleep better, feel more secure & develop faster as a result. I suggest reading a book called Babywearing by Dr Blois, if you have the chance. I will gladly share any info I can. Let me know if you have questions.

  • Very informative! Thank you for posting.

  • Really helpful. I didn't know the difference between baby wraps.
