this whole video was oriented towards the snap and that was the worst snap i've seen in a long time lol. you should have taken a few takes. it was slow and low. also, you're stance doesn't matter..it's whatever is comfortable to you. as long you're accurate.

This is not a tutorial, doesn't even tell you how to do it. I play center and when i first started it was hard for me. But you need to practice. It also depends how tall your qb is.

13 and have played center for 3 years before. I've had about 20 too high/too low snaps, 3 fumbles, and 2 procedures. Practice makes perfect, and I'm doing only shotgun and pistol this year. I've also had to alternate with one hand snaps and two hand snaps throughout me playing.

i play center i love it im in 8th grade 2nd unit varsity we run a weird offense im almost never snaping it straight so i always have to look where im snaping it to and im the best 1 on the team at snaping

One of the problems I faced when I first started playing center was listening. I would focus WAY to hard on the QB's voice and think every sound as his, and then eff up the play. As I went on through it, I figured out the don't focus so hard on the voice, it get's you all ancious to get rid of the ball. One of my kadence's was "check color, check color. Down. Go blue" or instead of color it would be sunday or monday. Focus on the snap call, such as "Go blue" instead of the whole kadence

I play center on my team and the way I got my snap under control was when I went to summer camp I would get into a position to snap the ball between the bunk beds so it was a strait line and my friend was behind like a QB if I missed people would get pissed since it would hit their things, and after like a month they were really good....

same here man... we run everything out of shotgun.. but the hardest thing to do as a center is snapping a wet ball... no grip at all.. i was tought to snap it with both hands lol... i also had to make the line calls.. i say playing center is harder then anyother lineman spot... you have to concentrate on making the right line calls, snapping the ball at the right time and blocking...

I am 12 and I snap mine different. I let go of the ball earlier but my still makes it to the quarterback, everyone does it different and I am not saying this is wrong I I dont snap this way.

i play center and shotgun is annoying butt its easy once u get it down ... when u first start out its kind of hard butt then u get the timing down of when you have to let go of the ball which is when the nose of the ball gets to your heels and from there its easy ... when you start out also try using a weighted ball to get your speed down and to make the muscles that you use stronger ... im also 6'3" and 200 pounds
