Arcane Spirit Shield is actually the best item for shield spot, not Mages book. Mages book is +15 mage bonus, whereas the Arcane Shield gives a +20 to mage bonus, along with a wicked defense bonus, thus making it the best shield for mages. Downside is its cost is roughly 65M. Also, Fire Cape is the best cape choice, giving a +1 in all offensive bonuses, and +11 in all Defensive bonuses, whereas Skillcapes give +0 in all offensive, and +9 in all defensive.

@Kingkit9 Actually You are forgetting about pray bonuses which are way more important then defence bonuses when bursting rock lobs. Sara cape to f cape switch if you are half decent you can take a switch. You don't need defence bonus for Rock Lobs, you need Mage and Pray bonus.

I love all these comments of suggestions :). The mage wand is great now as well as the mage book. When i made this mage wand could only be used for single casts at a time, so unless you like a lot of clicking that wasn't a valid option. And mage book has always been the best but i was partial to the sara book and the few extra mage bonus above 70 really has no effect.

Also, the best shield option is Arcane Spirit Shield, followed by Mages book. Arcane Shield gives +20 mage bonus, plus better Defense bonuses. Mages book gives +15 mage bonus. Only downfall is Arcane Shield is roughly 65M.

Just a suggestion :D

Instead of wearing ahrims while running the gather the lobsters, wear veracs or proslite armor for the pray bonus,I think the pros armor is +8 pray for body, and 6 for legs, but im not sure, thats like 14 more pray bonus though if you just take body/legs instead of 2 p pots :) It saves a few p pots, so cuts down cost. :D

Well when i went, i could do 5k+ bursts off of this invi with p pots to spare, runes, death chaos water blood, pros legs and body, 1 emergency shark a tele tab rest p pots, and 4 charm place holders. usually with pros did 1k bursts off of 3-4 p pots or so. not sure how many without but when i accidentally used ahrims while praying to gather them is was roughly double the pray points. I think you would be able to pro long your trip using pray boosting gear. did for me it seemed like anyway.

I agree with xavarn, isn't worth bringing, plus it weighs a lot, I'd rather run the whole time (penance gloves and boots of lightness lets me do this) than have a ton of armor slowing me down. A little less mage bonus honestly didn't seem to make a difference, although I'm 99 mage.

I just use a terror bird, and tireless run scrolls, also allows me to bring more p pots if needed, witch i always bring to many as it is for the 4-5k bursts i use in a trip.

farseer helm gives same mage attack as ahrims hood, and you dont have to repair it.

I would also go for fury, cus it gives mage attack and good prayer bonus.

Almost forgot, DONT TAKE SUMMONS, TAKE BLOOD RUNES for blood burst(gives really fast hp)
