First of all, I want to congratulate him on video. Just watch it already took a lot of doubts. I'm from Brazil and got a 120 the ultimate Nitroplanes and the manual did not come as I have doubts regarding the CG could help me?: The CG is where? It is calculated on the wing up or down? With a Saito 180, what prop I recommend? Thank you, Nino Brazil / SP!
I am putting together one of these at the moment and I was interested to know what the dimensions of the undercarriage are that you got made at TNT Landing gear as I am looking to get a set made myself. Great Video by the way.
I have the opportunity to buy a model equal to the new video here in Brazil. I'm behind a beep model for 3D flight. Does this model is good for 3D type maneuvers Tork Holl, Hari, with a 30cc engine DLE?
i other words you need to lift the model to measure the CG and if is it so, where you point your fingers on the wing ? near the fuselage or in the exact middle where the wing is attached to the other?
Did you have a problem with the covering being very wrinkled? I bought their 81" cub and it's very wrinkled. I tried to iron out the wrinkles, but they've come back after two days.
this is a fantastic video Al!! love the plane!! and love the tutorials, great detailed informative descriptions of the plane's parts and operating systems, top marks mate! and great flying!
The last bi-plane I flew was a Pitts S2 using a OS 120, and that thing tip stalled on the left side faster then you could imagine, if you got the nose to high on approach. seems this plane does not have that nasty habit. Never thought of tilting the landing gear forward. I will keep that in mind, from now on.
I am also a BiPlane FAN! I am almost finished with my Carl Goldberg Ultimate.I'd like to see how yours looked. I refuse to go Nitro because of the high price of fuel.I am interested in the Fuji-IMVAC 4-stroke gas engine, which is what I'll more than likely install. I almost went the Brushless way but, I could not find a smoke system for, electric powered planes. What's a beautiful BIPE, without SMOKE?I like how you did this plane. I'll be posting vids up soon also.Kepp Flyin' RC Headz!
Loved the 120 video. I think you did the 50cc also. I am new to flying, after the trainer if you were going to buy one which one would you fly. Is one easier then the other?
if you have a short runway, less than 300 feet, you might find that the 120 is easier to land, once you have ample experience with the 120, I would certainly recommed the larger one, I'm thrilled with mine.
You get an avreage of 12 to 15 minutes per flight on a 12 oz tank and you've probably used around 1/2 tank so a gallon will last you quite a while and its around fifteen dollars per gallon. Its really great sport flying and relitively cheap.
I just wanted to say THANKS for a great video... I like it when people talk about what they do to make improvements on the airplane... I hope to see more from you.. Just wondering where you fly at ?? And what other airplanes do you like... Thanks again.. Samuel A. Isaac A.M.A.#621021
Its my understanding that the pitts was the first on the scene followed by the ultimate and I believe that the pitts influence was incorprated in its design
Awesome plane, can't wait to get one of my own. How is this one performing as far as 3D is concerned? I'm mostly into the old school aerobatics myself, but I like to dabble with the dark side now and then lol.... Great video as always. 5/5
Its totally 3d capable depending on balance point which should be about 1/4 behind suggested point and increase the power plant, the 120 4 stroke is ideal for a great aerobatic performer w/smoke. really great plane, I LOVE IT!
nice video.. very informative... nice flying at the field too... i like biplanes too. i think they are very snappy... a joy to fly..i have 2 biplanes.. nothing quit as nice as yours though..1 is a daredevil by parkflyers and the other is a riot 3D... i will have to check out some of your other videos.. glad i came across you.. im going to leave you with my daredevil.. its not as nice as yours.. but it does fly well... great video...rcplanetim
Nice to hear from another biplane enthusiast: Golden Age Aviators we're an elite group to everyone that hasn't experienced the intrigue of biplane flying, you gotta try one
you should have at least a 120 4-stroke engine or better. check out bisson mufflers or jtecrc and tell them which engine your running and ask for a matching muffler w/smoke tap on it. Sullivan products has the skywriter smoke pump systems and get a 16 oz tank. This is an easy setup and you should be able to get it equipped withing an hour or so.
Is this plane modular can be taken apart forvtransport

hello,
where you keep the plane to measure the CG?
i other words you need to lift the model to measure the CG and if is it so, where you point your fingers on the wing ? near the fuselage or in the exact middle where the wing is attached to the other?
