  • You're very correct. Many of the exercises that we grew up using since we were younger we think are "obsolete" and can't do the job anymore. This is a great excuse that some thiings will never fall out of favor in strength training.

  • Very true. We tend to over complicate instead of sticking to what works. Effort and attitude are the keys to success. Not necessarily the newest and coolest of any one thing in particular. Keep the comments coming. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the question. Yes, in this clip we are using ten pound plates. I have used PVC pipes filled with sand and water too. This gets pretty intense quickly. Good form is a must and the push-up has become an under rated exercise in the modern area of "what do you bench?" Very humbling and a great exercise for coaches. Thanks for sharing.
