If you really wanted to get into detail with Jin's intent it's actually less selfish than you think. Jin uses his power in the Mishima Ziabutsu to create a world war to bring out the negative energy to give Azazel physical form but to also cleanse the earth and allow it to start fresh. Azazel represents sin, in tangible form, and by destroying Azazel he destroys sin and himself.

I've never seen such a crazy, freaked out family like the Mishimas in my entire console player life. But hell, I LOVE them!!!!! I can totally remember how upset people were when Namco let Kazuya "die" in Tekken 3- and they brought him back. For good reason, I think, because if they didn't, what should Jin have to do in his life now? He would be totally bored because he couldn't fight his dad anymore. XDDDDDD

Well, this is what makes me sick as well. I think the worst about Jin's change is that he was a really likeable character in the beginning, and now, he turns into an asshole. Okay, in the Tekken 6 campaign mode, it's implied that he had a "reason" for what he did, but seriously- a world war surely can't be a solution, no matter what "reason" it is.....

Kazuya was a bifid character from the beginning, and I'm curious what Namco has planned for him in the future.....

He wasn't controlled by Azazel, but Azazel spoke to Jin. In fact, Jin even wanted to fight Kazuya, to free himself of the devil curse. Jin hoped that he and Kazuya would destroy each other in this fight. Well, they maybe can make good for that missed chance later. XDDDDD

He explains the entire thing to Lars. It's a rather complex story ending, so I can't repeat all the details. Sure, one thing was to unleash Azazel and fight him. But he was also aiming for a clash with his father, to set himself free from the curse that is put on him since his childhood. Well, who knows what had happened if they actually fought each other.....

Sorry, but there surely is a better way but to unleash world war.....I'm not sure how many million humans got "killed" in this fictional war, but see those "innocents" like Miguel's sister. There's always another way. And whatever Jinn said, his actions and reactions were always kind of selfish, he wants to get rid of the devil gene at any cost. Maybe instead, he should better learn to accept his destiny. ;)

I don't think Kazuya will win Tekken 6 now that Lars, his half-brother has been introduced as Heihachi's son and the one who has betrayed his own (Jin/Tekken Force) to build a new era. I have a feeling that he will win as I think he is both the new ''Jin'' and ''Kazuya'' if you get what I mean. Jin was the new Kazuya and Lars is the new Jin so he is a mix of both. I think he will team up with Lee and they will both take on Heihachi, Kaz and Jin together maybe after the two evil stars clash.

kazuya is jin's father. they do have alot of similarities, especially in the way they control the mishima ziabatsu(kazuya was involved in murder, extortion, and animal experimenting in tekken 2. jin.....well jin is causing world war in tekken 6)

the only real true difference is that kazuya HAS control over the devil, while jin is UNDER control of the devil.
