To me, this is the most touching ending... I think...

But other than Chrono getting together with Marle, I love Tate's hero with Robo and Atropos. I can just see all the good things happining there (my own interpertation) since the future seems good, and some humor from Tate's trek!

if you didnt know, the reason that you can see a normal frog is because you defeated magus, his scene was replaced if you notice.

This is one of the MANY factors that alter a little the endings

actually there is a new secret ending in the ds version that requires u to go through 3 dimesional warps after u beat the game the first time and you face a lavos rip off called the dream devourer and u should just check it out yourself

in the Ds version, they changed some of the dialogue, like the first trip to 65 mil BC (where you go to the forest base) and you get the implication ayla is like just gotten preggys.

Oddly enough, I think the was my favorite ending, simply because you get to see frog as a human! I never knew that could happen.

Thanks for sharing this LP and for fighting Lavos umpteen times just so we could see the different endings!

the ps1 versoin is besst for chrono trigger and we find out what happens to them in chronocross in the sea of eden they become ghosts i stil lwanna know how did they die and in chrono cross shala from chrono trigger is merged with lavos u have to fight it to freee her its the final boss of chrono cross

Not sure if anyone else watches "Heroes" but a while ago they had this episode where Hiro had to do all this stuff to save someone he loved and he was explaining her to someone and he said "the MJ to my Spiderman" and the other person said "the Marle to your Crono!" really quickly. The "riding on balloons" variation only happens if you take the Epoch to fight Lavos.

Have you or Lucahjin played Radical Dreamers? It's the Gaiden(side-story) in the Chrono series and a LOT of the inspiration for Chrono Cross comes from that game.

This ending was "originaly" meant to be the ending to Chrono trigger and have a direct sequel without Crono, but they desited to make it possible to get crono back, which was a good choise, even though it is a horrible cliche, it extended the game and made it as awesome as it is.
