Lloks to me like you are simply trying to use the jot beyond the specified 40 degree angle. Or you need to borrow yoir wife/girlfriends nail polishing file (they are foamy with fine grit that doesnt damage the disc) and file off the excess plastic on the edges of the disc that I found make it drag and thus not touch the screen. Or you just may have a defective disk. Mine works absolutely flawlessly after filing off excess plastic and polishing up the disk surface with my wife's nail polishin
@MMBsman7171 Thanks. I contacted Adonit and they also thought it was a defective disc. Based on this, I opened the other one I bought (for my wife) and it worked very well.
Defective disk... My Jot is the best thing ever.
