EverQuest GM Admin Pops in POK!!!

I saw a GM situation once..... There was PKer (with his different coloured name bar) standing there with his guild as "GM Alliance" and he was telling people he was the head GM.... But suddenly a real GM appeared right next to him and shouted "You have no right doing this..... It ends now!" and they both disappeared. It was just like Samuel L Jackson confronting Palpatine in Star Wars. I felt sorry for the poor guy though he kept going "I'm sorry, please don't ban me. I didn't mean any harm"

First time I came to play EQ a GM listed me under spam when I asked the general channel for a GM to fix an item so I could duel wield it like the item said, but instead I got listed as [spam]. So I asked an experienced player that I was leveling with to undo this spam thing... and somehow that player kept getting kicked to character select when he tried to help me... Not sure but I think it was an anal GM.

Ah man that freaks me right out. Like a whole other race of beings that travel around invisible with Godlike powers.... Passing you by or staring at you and we don't even know it.

The other day I had a GM pop into Sanctum Somnium because some idiot had been training the rug camp and it made me laugh when it said the GM recieved the achievement for visiting the zone. Didn't think GM characters could get achievements like players could.

The Nameless server was a great place to play, well at least before all the server merges started taking place. It held the title of rudest server due to the competitive nature of it high end guilds...... loved it.

The PvP server is HORRIBLE... no one likes the PvP servers anymore. Come to a blue server... Come to Stromm!

Servers are getting quite populated again. People are starting to come back. EQ looks better then this video portrays.

Since upgrading my RAM I found EQ to be much less laggy. I play on the AB server, Warriors of Thundercrest guild, officer Eluwenie Stargazer.

I'm from Nameless..I've been wanting to play real bad lately, but the guild I was in is gone, and I can't fix this bug that glitches me all over.. I heard people were calling it the "nVidia bug." Lol I've tried everything to fix it but no luck. =( ..Well maybe see ya around sometime. x]

wow. EQ is bare now. I remember playing a couple years back and you couldn't escape the lag, now matter where you went. Now it looks like there are a max of 1,000 people on. max.

Yeah POK is pretty bare, but most people now congregate in the guild lobby or the guild hall. These are places that the buff timers dont decrease.Also people do MGBs in the lobby, so if you are gonna go afk for a while, quite often you come back fully buffed.

Another reason it looks bare is that many people are in instances but the most recent expansion focused on larger outdoor zones so you get to see people again =D

I've rejoined again back in July. It's not as barren as I previously thought. Also, in response to the 'GM' (Guide) magically disappearing, he went invisible. Players cannot see it, but that's how it works. (This is coming from a previous guide.)

He could've warped to a players location or chain zoned aswell, I was once too a guide.

Guides don't really have the ability to chain zone. We can zone at will, but chain zoning is zoning basically the instant you pop in.

No, only GMs can do this type of command.

Not 'officially' but players can use a very well-known program to do it. However, theres systems in place now that will detect this warping =)
