This was the last crew battle for Hong 10 before he retires for a few years to be in the Korean army. Man and he was also so clean in the showcase compared to Red Bull BC One 2011 where he had crashed so many times. Either way, Hong 10 didn't win both his last one on one & crew battle before he retires which sucks. :/ BOTY 2011 was rigged, but what can I say I wasn't a judge. :P

BOTY was one of my favourite bboy competitions including their showcases and battle. but this time, they lost my all respect. I know Korean is keep winning the BOTY since 2004, not 2008 and 2005 or 6, but they cant just do that. because this showcase was so damn good, even though it was 4minute like last year, it was good. and not so many bboys are interested in showcases, most bboy are into battles so as other crews. Look at the crowd lol. I can imagine all the crowd is got mad after BOTY 2011.

I'm sick of Jinjo dick riders. OBVIOUSLY THERE'S A REASON THEY DIDN'T ADVANCE.

1. They used the same showcase as R16. And the judges were very aware of this.

2. There is a criteria to meet in BOTY such as use of footwork, use of stage, requirement time, using every member and not re-using people for solos, etc.

And also if Jinjo reeaalllyyy wanted to win it again, they would've made something new. They already won before, they know what it takes to win BOTY.

I am actually a fan of Jinjo btw.

Just because they did it in 2010 doesn't mean the judges for 2011 are gonna be the same, the judges may have a different state of mind when it comes to that. But criteria wise, they were docked for not involving everybody enough, there was like 1 point in the showcase where they were all dancing together. The rest of their time they did their commandos only

Battle Born's wasn't as exciting as Jinjo's, but it was well rounded and covered a lot of the BOTY standards, which earned themselves a spot in the top 4.

@SofiaKR I'm not one of the judges but they may not have won the showcase because they did this routine at R16. I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure this routine is the EXACT same one they did at R16 and with the same song. Jinjo are dope and their routines are original but them repeating this routine may be the reason they didn't win best showcase. But again I'm not a judge and i don't know their actual reason for not choosing Jinjo. Either way MAD RESPECT to Jinjo, their showcase was clean.
