This song reminds me of my mom. She loved her some Stevie Wonder; so did my grandmother!!!!! I used to dance on this song back in the day. Wonderful memories!!!!
When my cousin got married, in !971, at the end of the ceremony, the minister said, "Signed, sealed, delivered, he's yours! And, gave her the marriage certificate! She and her husband are still together and have two kids. And, four grandkids!

religion exists to be made fun of. have you ever seriously thought about it? you're placing all of your faith in the existence of some nebulous afterlife decided totally by whether or not you read some book that just so happens to ignore massive amounts of established science and common sense. that sounds like fair game to me.
@dreadboystarchild you sound like a much less intelligent version of many low-brow comedians that try to make a joke out of religion....lots of things in the world don't make logical sense...but that doesn't mean that they can't exist on a deeper level...i truly feel like God does exist but humans don't have the mental capacity to truly understand and appreciate his existence....but, if being an atheist makes you happy, then do your thing...for me though, i like to believe in a higher power

Jack Ashford is most famous for playing the tambourine on hundreds of Motown recordings. His definitive performance is on "War" by Edwin Starr; other notable songs Ashford played tambourine on include "Nowhere to Run" by Martha & the Vandellas, "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye, "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Thelma Houston, Smiling Faces "and many more
I know, right?! I was making a tape today for my car and this song was skipping on my CD so I was trying to stand still and I just couldn't do it! haha :D I love this song so much!!
This song has nothing to do with Obamalamadingdong. It has to do with an incredibly gifted and hard working musician who overcame extreme hardships to become one of our most beloved artists. To put him in the same category as the current president is an insult to Mr. Wonder and others like him.
ok, for the people before and the people who will come. would you please PLEASE stop talking about 'nam aND Obama and racisim. This is not a chat forum. It's just a song its not even about black people. Its about a guy who did something wrong to his beloved and now hw wants her to take him back cant you see that. Gosh !(napolean dynamite style XD
I agree this is just a song......... a very good song. Lets live and love and enjoy this great music we have been bless with here in America. Memphis, Tn.
I can Really... care less what this song reminds YOU of quite frankly know one asked you, I made that comment on my behalf and no its no generational thing Ive heard this song way before BO so you call him walked out proudly with it playing, it something I wont forget
ok your a idiot wy compare black woman with beating children stupid man i love black woman the old sayin down south you ant a man till you split black oak
This is the new official song of hope and redemption. OUR song. All ignorant, uneducated, racist trolls stay away from this vid. Go listen to Hank Williams Jr. Official singer for mccain/palin.

This song has nothing to do with Obamalamadingdong. It has to do with an incredibly gifted and hard working musician who overcame extreme hardships to become one of our most beloved artists. To put him in the same category as the current president is an insult to Mr. Wonder and others like him.

Couldn't have said it better myself, I personally have more appreciation for musical talent than for "political talent".
just a thought, a song that REALLY fits american politics is....
High school never ends- bowling for soup! :)

Must be a generational thing. BO is not who I think of when I hear this song.
I think of Little Stevie Wonder in the 60's.
I'd rather not ruin the memory.

Coloured? What century are you from? Just because you were taught by black teachers at school doesn't make you exempt from being a racist.

I love these examples, they reveal so much about a person.
How about, "I'm not racist, I have many black friends"?

There are misogynists who have sex with women.
There are parents who beat their children.
What's your point?
