  • When my cousin got married, in !971, at the end of the ceremony, the minister said, "Signed, sealed, delivered, he's yours! And, gave her the marriage certificate! She and her husband are still together and have two kids. And, four grandkids!

  • Go Stevie Go

  • this song is one of his best among others this is one of tha greatest songs from tha 80s

  • @MJFanForLife1000 I think you mean 70's ;)

  • @johnniewalker23 and barely 70s at that, pretty much 60s in sound...

  • @johnniewalker23 It was recorded in November 1969, and released in 1970, its more 60s than anything else

  • @MJFanForLife1000 SIGNED, SEALED... IS NOT A 80'S SONG.. ITS A 1970 SONG FROM STEVIE WONDER

  • @MJFanForLife1000 FYI: not from the 80's. even further back and a TESTIMONY to the MAGNIFICENCE of MOTOWN and to MR. WONDER: i shake my head when i listen to the arrangement, his perfect, SO CLEAR, diction, the background singers. that is why it is even BETTER today than yesterday!!!!!!!!!! GLORY TO GOD ALMIGHTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MJFanForLife1000 this was not the 80's...try 1970 album Title is "Signed Sealed & Delivered !

  • lol....I was 9 yrs old when this song came out....wooooo And remember my mother and her friends listening to it...

SHAKING MY HEAD....SONGS OVER 40 YEARS IN EXISTENCE AND STILLLLLL SOUNDS.....CAN YOU FIND THE WORDS TO DESCRIBE? • I was 10 back in 1970 and this song made me dance then and I'm 50 now and still I groove to this amazing classic. Bless you Stevie, for your great songs, wonderful career and how your music has touched the heart of millions!

  • @AmbientMix I can relate, Ambient. I was 11 back in 1970. This was the first album my 13-year-old brother ever bought ($3.99, I believe; my first was still years away). The excitement of this cut and the groove throughout the LP blew me away! Who knew Stevie would dominate the decade the way no individual artist had or has since!

  • This song shoul've been about 4 minutes long...I love this song!!! Love ya, Stevie.

  • @Chris9273 It would have been edited to this length so it fit on a 45. There is probably a "Part 2" lurking in some long-forgotten archive somewhere....

  • didn michael jackson make a song with these same lyrics?

  • I'm crazy bout this one <3

Too bad it became related to Obama =_=''

  • @AsnaLHermite Did it? For who?

  • awesome song!

  • @loveya2119 You can still dance to this stuff, and the others will follow. LOL. Can't beat real music from "back in the day".

  • I have a huge collection of music before the Supreme and the Temptations was under "Motown", it was "Tamela records". I love my old stuff from Johhny Ace, David Ruffin, to Black Ivory, the Doobie Brothers, Love Unlinited, and the list goes on. Music back then related to every day up/downs....the best.

  • Here I am baby ~~~~~~~~~I'm yours

  • 70's rule man!!!

  • haha great song!! =]

  • THE best!!!!!!!

  • this song gave me a chill !!!! I was born in the 90's but THIS is what I consider MUSIC!!!!

  • SS&D the health bill WILL pass thank GOD much to the HATE from REP and certain DEMO-RATS who just cant sleep at night with the HIStory books saying PRESIDENT OBAMA got it done on his WATCH.

  • SS&D! thank GOD a good health bill WILL be passed this week. and it is killing the REP and a few DEMO-RATS because the TRUTH is they don't want the HIStory books to read that PRESIDENT OBAMA got it RIGHT. after SO many have failed, this MAN got it RIGHT.

  • love it! on which album is it?

  • One of the best songs ever!!!!!!!!!!

  • He ain't Jamerson, but Babbitt sure did deliver.

  • people have crueley killed more ppl. over religion than anything since the beginning of time, why? so i cant spell im old lol

  • a group of guys at my school did a cover for this.. omg it was so good. They did a quartet and it was amazing.

  • Mesmerizing Bass.

  • whenever i feel down... i listen to the song and most of the time it makes me smile... and even dance! such a good, fun, energetic song!

  • this song makes you want to dance

  • Thank you very much.

  • Sorry not getting involved in a faith row!Love this song!My little sisters song!Love it as she does and so does her son!x

  • BRILLIANT then. BRILLIAN NOW. but could stevie/motown have believed that this song would be the poster anthem for the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA? who has to wonder why MOTOWN is STILL the BEST MUSIC EVER!!!

  • I was in the 8th grade when this song came out. My god !! It sure brings back great and wonderful memories! Love you Stevie Wonder!!

  • wish i was born around that time i was born in 2000 i gotta listen to garbage like souljah boy

  • @DUTTYWINE1TIME69 So you claim to be 9 years old? LOL!!!!!

  • Is it just me or can you imagine Huggy Bear grooving to this at the end of a Starsky and Hutch episode.

One of those comedy endings we all love where Starsky and Hutch just look at each other in that "oh it's Huggy doing his thing" way?

  • Stevie wonder was not a talented musician

    he was a GREAT musician!

  • ACTUALLY, HE IS (and i underscore the word IS!!!)BOTH TALENTED AND GREAT.

  • @MegaDudeman10

lol u were gonna get a thumbs down at first

  • Right now, I'm just learning to play this song on the piano.

  • now this is a groove..

  • I am so packaged/postaged/presumptous and I'm on my way to the best reciever ever....David Bowie....Oh yeah!!!!

  • lmao

  • go tofelt!!!!

  • i adore this song!

  • Stevie Wonder is god !!!

  • NO, stevie is NOT god. but he like ALL of us are 'A' god. according to what JESUS said (JOHN 10: 34 as HE referred to PSALM 82:6) remembering to give ALL TRUE Praise, Honor & Glory to the ONE WHO gave stevie/us our Gifts & Talents: the FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY!!! Thank YOU, FATHER!!!!!!!

  • you're a goddamned idiot. not everything has to be a fucking theological discussion. primal was simply saying that stevie wonder is a really talented musician. and i agree with him. if you want to expound your religious philosophies do it elsewhere.

  • GOD bless you, you wonderful, talented, beautiful person!!!

  • you're a goddamned idiot. not everything has to be a theological discussion. primal was simply trying to say that stevie wonder is a really talented musician, and i agree with him. if you want to expound your religious beliefs do it elsewhere. tool.

  • @tofelt if god was real, she would blatently be a chick, so thank you mother god almighty (we all know buddha is the real deal anyways!)

  • Why? Because everyone has to be christian to survive? If god loved everyone then that wouldn't be the case.

  • no but u still don't have to make fun of the religion! u should respect other ppl's religion! and if you can't respect that than u should go somewhere with your god hatin self!

  • religion exists to be made fun of. have you ever seriously thought about it? you're placing all of your faith in the existence of some nebulous afterlife decided totally by whether or not you read some book that just so happens to ignore massive amounts of established science and common sense. that sounds like fair game to me.

  • @dreadboystarchild you sound like a much less intelligent version of many low-brow comedians that try to make a joke out of religion....lots of things in the world don't make logical sense...but that doesn't mean that they can't exist on a deeper level...i truly feel like God does exist but humans don't have the mental capacity to truly understand and appreciate his existence....but, if being an atheist makes you happy, then do your thing...for me though, i like to believe in a higher power

  • i don't think humanity can understand the concept of a god, and i don't think it should matter. what's really out there is out there, and shouldn't affect our lives. In other words, let ethics and morals exist for their own sake instead of for the purpose of pleasing some invisible man in the sky. thank you

  • Thanks Murph for your comment..I'm not perfect nor never would claim to be...However, I like the way you put your comment and I normally don't reply to anything that has to do with religion or politics because like you? I feel to each their own and we're included in our opinions as well. So, thanks again for yours!!

  • its kind of mean when you say if you dont beleive in god you should be dead, its up to you weather you want to beleive in him or not, stop getting so moody.

  • awesome!

  • My feelings for how good this song is are unexpressable in words.

  • Amen!!!!!!!!!

  • Its amazing how you find artists like that isn't?People like Stevie,Clapton,SRV, Santana,B.B. King,Grey Slick.I can go on and on.But, my point some artists are so loved and have such a wonderful joyous influence on people that there are no words to describe just pure emotion.

  • @StagePerformer51 Try modern interpretative dance.

  • @StagePerformer51 . . . exactly my thoughts:)

  • omg..i have not heard this in ages..this reminds me..of when i was growing up..i love this in the film..Now & Then..Thank you ^_^

  • This was my all time favorite song. I can recall sneaking downstairs to dance to it when my Aunts had a party. I knew I'd get it, but I couldn't help myself!

  • great song

  • STEVIE WONDER: THE MOVIE!

  • stevie wonder is a part of american history. I feel lucky to be alive the same time period as him. he's an american original and will be loved long after hes dead

  • nakelly1: YOU CAN'T HELPPPP BUT LOVE IT BECAUSE BABY THISSSS IS REALLlllll MUSIC. MOTOWN. MAGNIFICENCE AT ITS BEST. NEVER TIRED, OUTDATED, OR BORING. THANK YOU, GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL INSPIRING US

  • tofelt...WORD!!

  • love this song though its older. i usually dont like that kind of thing but love this!!!

  • That's cuz this doesn't sound old or dated at all. It's timeless, and it's from 1970. If you'd never heard it before I doubt you could place it in time

  • @johnniewalker23 Sorry, it does sound old and dated. But that's a good thing cos most modern music is awful - this came from a time when soul, talent and vibe ruled, and the quest for ultra-hifidelity, bland, homogenous songs was still a nightmare yet to come. :)

  • Funk Brothers live on baby... The tamborine work is SUPERB !!!!!! WOW !!! Sing it Stevie......

  • Jack Ashford is most famous for playing the tambourine on hundreds of Motown recordings. His definitive performance is on "War" by Edwin Starr; other notable songs Ashford played tambourine on include "Nowhere to Run" by Martha & the Vandellas, "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye, "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Thelma Houston, Smiling Faces "and many more

  • Best voice ever.

  • I can't keep still when I play this!!! Wow!!

  • right?? its like i be in my bed and turn this shit on . my girl be like whadya sleep walkin? i be like no bitch im dancin!!!

  • I know, right?! I was making a tape today for my car and this song was skipping on my CD so I was trying to stand still and I just couldn't do it! haha :D I love this song so much!!

  • Why is everyone being so negative? Please, take it elsewhere. Listen

  • LD+WiW

  • favorite card 2 of hears....xoxo

  • whore

  • This song has nothing to do with Obamalamadingdong. It has to do with an incredibly gifted and hard working musician who overcame extreme hardships to become one of our most beloved artists. To put him in the same category as the current president is an insult to Mr. Wonder and others like him.

  • Couldn't have said it better myself, I personally have more appreciation for musical talent than for "political talent".

just a thought, a song that REALLY fits american politics is....

High school never ends- bowling for soup! :)

  • bookgirl do you speak for the entire black community

  • This song has nothing to do with black people I should know because I'm black m'self

  • ok, for the people before and the people who will come. would you please PLEASE stop talking about 'nam aND Obama and racisim. This is not a chat forum. It's just a song its not even about black people. Its about a guy who did something wrong to his beloved and now hw wants her to take him back cant you see that. Gosh !(napolean dynamite style XD

  • I agree this is just a song......... a very good song. Lets live and love and enjoy this great music we have been bless with here in America. Memphis, Tn.

  • This song will always remind me of Barrack Obama he came out after he won with this song BLARING! I love it:D

  • Must be a generational thing. BO is not who I think of when I hear this song.

I think of Little Stevie Wonder in the 60's.

I'd rather not ruin the memory.

  • I can Really... care less what this song reminds YOU of quite frankly know one asked you, I made that comment on my behalf and no its no generational thing Ive heard this song way before BO so you call him walked out proudly with it playing, it something I wont forget

  • im not racest i had coulerd teachers inscool

  • Coloured? What century are you from? Just because you were taught by black teachers at school doesn't make you exempt from being a racist.

  • I love these examples, they reveal so much about a person.

How about, "I'm not racist, I have many black friends"?

    HAHA

  • ????

There are misogynists who have sex with women.

There are parents who beat their children.

    What's your point?
