13 years after being stood in Our Price Manchester, reading these lyrics imposed over an early 80`s image of Kirk Brandon, Ive just listened to this song for the first time. It is a beautiful song, but never to me a tribute, more a spiteful revenge. I remember seeing his interview coming out of court and on a Nick Hancock BBC chat show. The facade dropped & the body language told the truth. I saw KB live solo in Derby shortly after doing Song for (G.O.D), lyrics went "how do you sleep at night"

So beautiful! I've been looking a while for a good version of this song (I was very disappointed when Live at the Lilydome of this song was taken down). This is wonderful, he is an amazing singer, and a great look for him as well. Just gorgeous

'Tears for what might have been' was how the final version turned out. Vaseline is what it was here in the first draft. Like I said, funny, but not quite right.

Gosh, he was in fabulous voice during this conference wasn't he? An early version - not quite buffed up. 'Tears in the vaseline' is funny.
