I thought when a band did a cover song they were supposed to add something to the song to make it more personalized to that particular band? This is a stupily horrible version of this song and I had to listen to KISS's version several times to get my love for this song once again. Please either stick to writing your own original songs so no one can tell how it's supposed to really go or give it up completely!

As a life-long metal head. Up until I downloaded all of them after only owning Jubileum Vol. 1, I can say I'm glad I have them all. Start w/Jubileum Vol. 1 which will give a good cross section from the albums early on. Bathory had several phases black metal to viking metal to black/thrash and back to viking. If you do iTunes they are stocked w/Bathory and you won't go broke in the process. R.I.P. Quorthon

Blood Fire Death, Under The Sign of The Black Mark, Twilight of the Gods, Hammerheart... those are his best works IMO.

Or you could get Jubileum Vol. 1, 2 and 3 or the In Memory of Quorthon boxset, then you can see for yourself which Bathory era you like best.

It's a great song but I don't agree with you guys about this cover, I think it sucks. Personally, I think that KISS music should only be played by KISS because frankly it doesn't sound good when anybody else does it (except for maybe Pantera) whether it be Lenny Kravitz or whoever it just doesn't sound right when other bands try to replicate the genious that is KISS.
