  • This video was made ahort and sweet and to the point. Overview of RTI made simple and I understand the material.

  • Great indepth video of RTI. I really liked the visuals used in the video. The visuals helped to provide me with a more clear mental picture of how the RTI process works. Since I'm a visual person this was an excellent aid to my understanding.

  • I enjoyed watching this video. I learned alot about the three tiers. Each tier builds upon the next. Tier 1 focus on evidence-based intervention. Tier 2 focus on strategic-based intervention. Tier 3 focus on intensive-based intervention. Good video!

  • I learned alot about the difference in the three tiers. Tier 1 uses evidence-based interventions. Tier 2 uses strategic-based interventions. Tier 3 uses intensive-based interventions. Each tier builds on the next. This is an excellent way of making sure that all students are getting the needed support for learning.

  • This was a great video. This video made it very clear to me what was done at each tier of intervention. It also made it clear who delivered the information to the students and what size group it was done in. I also like the fact that it made it very clear that these interventions did not take the place of the regular instruction but, it just supplemented it.

  • This video was very informative and really helped me understand the Response to Intervention plan. Once again, I am enthusiastic to see an attempt to help ALL students and focus on individual student needs. As an early childhood education major I understand that all childen learn at different rates and in different ways. Rayna A. (ASU)

  • This video was short but explained RTI very well. Each tier was explained thoroughly for complete understanding.

  • this video explains the three tiers of intervention. They use these tiers to meet the needs of all their students through differentiated instruction.

  • This video does a great job at explaining Response to Intervention. Each tier builds upon the prior tier, not replace it. The video was very specific about what happens at each tier and who provides the instruction.

  • This video did a great job explaining the process of RTI through step-by-step demonstration. It really helped me understand how students move from tier to tier to get the instruction that best meets their individual needs. I am glad to see that intervention is designed to help all students succeed academically!

  • This video explained the three tiers of intervention step-by-step. In tier I all students receive differential instruction by the general education teacher. If students are not performing at the level they are expected to perform, they move up to tier 2 which is based on tier I. At this level, students receive instruction within small groups with support personnel such as a paraprofessional. The purpose of intervention is to help all students succeed academically. This video demonstrate this

  • This video shows rti as the 3tier model pyramide and a framework for school-wide intervention. It also states that rti is evidence-based instruction all students.

  • I believe this is a very helpful video. It really breaks down the three tiers and explains them very well. It clears up any misunderstandings that people may have about the three tiers in response to intervention. I like the three tiers because it breaks up where certain students needs to be taught. I like that it is based on different levels to help each type of child where they need the help.

  • This video explains the tiers of RTI by informing what is being taught and the person the teaches the content. It is broken down to help you understand how your child or student is getting help to improve their academics.

  • This video talks about the 3 Tiered model that is in the form of a triangle that is a framework in instructing all students. All students participate in tier 1 instruction. At this level they receive differentiate instruction delivered by a general education teacher that uses evidence based core curriculum.

  • Short video that effectively explains the 3 tiers of intervention in the RTI process.

  • This gave a good visual of how tiered intervention can help students.

  • This gave a good visual overview of the tiers of intervention and how they help students.

  • Discuss the three Tier framework that can be used for all students. Tier-1 have differentiated instructions. Tier-2 build upon Tier-1. it's strategy, based instruction, and is a supplement for the curriculum. Tier-3 is the supplement for the previous tiers. It's intensive, evidence base instruction, and provide to individual small groups.

  • The video is a good overview of RTI. It gave a good example of Dennis core instruction and he catching up with his classmates.with Tier 2 strategies.

  • This is described as a school wide strategy for instructing all students. If the student does not respond to at tier 1 they go on to tier 2. If a student is at tier 3 only a portion will require special ed. Services.

  • Tier 3 of the process is for about 5% of all students. This is when supplementation begins and it is usually an individual child or small group. This Tier is usually delivered by a specialist of a SPED teacher. It was interesting to me because these tiers are like trying to save the students. And after many students complete Tier 3, only a few may have to have SPED services

  • In this video, it stated that Tier 1 is evidence based for all students and most of the students are 80-85% successful. Tier 2 is when they begin to build upon differentiated instruction and approximately 15% of students are in this tier. It was interesting to me that students who are in Tier 2 also continue in Tier 1.

  • The video gives a great demonstration of how the 3 tiered approach is used to meet the needs of all students. In tier 1, all students participate and differentiated instruction is taught in the general education classroom using evidence-based curriculum. In tier 2, the teacher builds upon what has been used in tier 1 and is usually in small groups. In tier 3, the most intensive intervention is used and it is delivered in very small groups.

  • This video broke down the tiers even more and gave insight to how many students are serviced in the tiers and that it doesn’t mean special needs and in fact only a few go on to receive special needs servies.

  • This video was a great mini-lesson that covered all the basic information about the 3 Tiered approach to RTI. It pretty much summed up what I learned in my Sp. Ed. Class last Fall! It really helped me better understand the differences in the Tiers by using the visual affects.

  • Overview was very helpful to discover academic gains through these intervention tiers.. Very detailed !

  • THis video broke the RTI process down into easy to understand terms. It took away all the complicated language and gave the process straight to you.

  • This is an effective way to reach all students. Although students may move to different tiers, they still participate in the previous tier and receive additional time in their current tier to provide as much instruction and intervention as possible. Great approach.

  • OK, after a TON of poorly written government reading- this made it clear in 2:42, thank you!

  • Excellent overview, thank you!
