You have to understand, Social Security isn't a 'fund'. It is a tax. It is simply an income tax that goes into the general Treasury, with no earmarks. Then what happens is that Congress requests X amount of dollars to be set aside that year to pay off all the people.
Supreme Court ruled that FICA was only an Income tax, and isn't anything you have ownership of. They can cut off SS tomorrow and there is nothing legally you could do about it, because none of it is your money.

Learned a few new things. Didn't know about the forged jobs. I knew they were cooking the books either way. I think the real unemployment is closer to 20%+. Looks like that is about accurate. U6 unemployment last time I checked was 16.5% and that doesn't include quite a few things so 20% is a good estimate.
