  • Anyone know where the picture from 2:27 is from?

  • @DearSkylark I believe it is from the movie Magnificent Doll (1946)

  • On a talent scale of 1 to 10....100+!!

  • what is the picture at 1:10 from?

  • Thanks for making this! I LOVE Ginger, there are too few video's out there of her.

  • @wickedfan7681 Glad you liked it. There is another Ginger tribute I made on my channel.

  • There's still no one like her. She would have been 99 years old this July. Happy Birthday, Miss Rogers.

  • My Mother was a dancer in her youth and admired this lady to the point of nicknaming me *Ginger* ...I am honored.

  • Beautifully done, and the PERFECT song to match! That picture of Ginger with the wedding gown on.......woa now! She'd make any groom melt to his KNEES.

  • Thank you very much, and I completely agree. lol

  • this was lovely !

  • Thank you.

  • what a great video..i love it.and ur eyes are jus as blue as gingers...did u ever know notice that?

  • I never thought of that.lol

  • AWESOME GINGER

  • Thank you for a lovely tribute for a lovely lady who was a very talented actress, both dramatic and comedic, who also happened to be an excellent dancer and singer. We are so fortunate that she left a legacy of truly entertaining films from the lighthearted to the very dramatic. I agree with followthefleet and fredangin with my whole heart, mind, and soul. Thanks again.

  • a charming montage for a charming lady. thanks.

  • Among all the classic stars, Ginger has been a bit underrated. She also got some cowardly and bad personal press after she died...by the likes of two Brits: the junior Morley and the miniaturist portraitist Bacardy. This fan video isn't a refutation...only her many movies on TCM will do that, and the personal insults will eventually be defused by a more complete and scholarly biography. Thanks for reminding us of her life and the legions of friends she earned, by bringing such joy to the world.

  • Followthefleet , you're perfectly right,!!! and how can such "so called" writers such as Morley write stupid things !!! the only thing to do is to "trash" them!!! her memoirs are also rather interesting and candid, she was a charming and talented woman.

  • They write for money and because of imagined (and sometimes real) insults to their male egos. She always had a "hard edge". she might have ated the cream-puff is some films, but "she had guts" as Fred said. He also said she "was the hardest working actress he ever knew.". Being an actress took guts and discipline and mental toughness...and in her case, a strong spirit.

  • @followthefleet what bad press did she receive...i dont remember reading about any

  • There were a few new pictures I've never seen before! Thank you! (And this song fits Ginger perfectly. :-) )

  • I'm glad you liked it :0)

  • lots of "new" pics. very interesting, thanks

  • Where did you get these pictures? Are they all from Life?
